Today I got suddenly got Twitter's fail whale. It seems that world events impact social media more than I thought.
I don't know if it's user fail, a bad 545 film holder back, or a bad batch of film, but I constantly get weird - albeit it interesting - results with positive-negative film, such as this attempt at a still life with some dying tulips.

A mini-series following my 44mm-high Homies character Pelon, where he poses for photo ops at potholes on the streets of Mount Tabor Park.
Leadership fixes potholes, not patching.
Chronic neglect of Portlandâs streets is manifesting in the burgeoning number and size of dangerously large potholes across the city. Here, pothole road damage is seen in Mount Tabor Park, Portland, Oregon.
Engineering: From a technical perspective, a great deal of information can be gleaned from a deep pothole, as it provides a cross-section-view of the pavement structural sectionâ¦or lack thereof, as in this case. Here, the asphalt wearing surface is heavily pitted, highly oxidized and brittle, confirming many years of neglect. The asphalt layer is minimal; confirming this road never received the maintenance originally planned. The river-rounded pebbles of the base course layer tell the story of a roadway constructed originally from deficient materials. Roadway base course should be well-graded, faceted aggregate so as to provide optimum particle interlock â a crushed and sieved mix from those same pebbles would suffice. Finally, from the moisture visible in the pothole, and the shape of terrain at the road shoulders, it is clear that poor drainage has contributed to the failure of this road. The conclusion is unequivocal; this road has failed and no amount of patching will restore a level of service â or service life â that should be reasonably expected of it.

XBox 360 Repair: DAY 02
Just to clarify things, I have been complaining about Call Of Duty: World At War on the Nintendo Wii, not the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions which I understand are much, much better. Whilst I appreciate the technical challenge of porting a title such as this to the Wii, it won't get any sympathy from me.
Thanks.
Well, at least Target Diskmode saves the day for both of us. KIller feature for when things go wrong really. Guenter's computer can't boot the OS because the disk fails, but from Target Disk mode he can still get his data out. I can't boot my computer because the gfx fail, but with Target Disk mode I can boot the other mac from my harddrive and avoid losing a day of setup for a new computer.

Not entirely sure what happened here, but I failed with bad magic. When I rebooted, the message disappeared and booted properly.
This guy reached out to touch someone and that someone didn't care. Unfortunately for him I was right there with my camera.
When a centimetre isn't. The steel tape measure is correct.
The "Meet in China" (a pun on "Made in China", where "meet" is Dutch for "measure") is on permanent display on the Hack42 Wall of Fail.

So i’m super behind with my astronomy class that i’m thinking about just dropping it to receive a W. :/ I need to stop being so lazy & just finish it & try my hardest but it’s just a really hard class with all this math involved. It just reallly sucks.
Anyway. Today was good. Had more training at the studio & barely had time to take this. Hence why it’s so bad :((((.
Doing my boyfriend’s 2 sister’s photoshoots tmrw! So i can almost promise you that tmrw’s photo will be good & it will make up for all the crappy photos lately. Yayyyy :D

Swan family separated by the weir!! Came across this family of swans on the River Anton at Upper Clatford. The parents and three cygnets were above the weir and the other three cygnets were below. Try as hard as they might the three below couldn't rejoin the family!!

The mute swan is a very large white waterbird. It has a long S-shaped neck, and an orange bill with black at the base of it. Flies with its neck extended and regular slow wingbeats. The population in the UK has increased recently, perhaps due to better protection of this species. The problem of lead poisoning on lowland rivers has also largely been solved by a ban on the sale of lead fishing weights. Some birds stay in their territories all year, while others move short distances and form winter flocks. In cold weather, some birds arrive from Europe into eastern England.

iPhone FAIL Apple insider has a story that Apple is working with Adobe to get flash on the iPhone. A quote from Adobe:
It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating," he says. "The ball is in our court. The onus is on us to deliver
Apple Insider - Adobe, Apple working together on Flash for iPhone
About time. I am sick of those little blue diamonds I keep seeing on news sites... meaning I can't see the video report. Adobe is taking the blame here saying the ball is in their court. But why does nearly every other smartphone platform have flash then? Simple. Apple is being a bitch and playing hard to get. What Apple are doing is screwing their customers. If this is "Less is more" then I'd rather just have more you blithering idiots.
We got some furniture sent over from Iceland. The movers wrapped the entire thing in previously used cardboard boxes. Epic fail!
Any ideas why I got this result. It was a hot sunny day but not as hot as when I shot my two previous packs of TIP 600 and those came out perfect. I did use a different camera. Maybe I should switch out the pack into another camera.
I really wanted to win this Giochi Icy doll tonight, but I obviously failed! I guess I shouldn't have been so dumb to think I could get her for $30 + shipping- but I still wouldn't have paid $70 with all of the new Winx Stuff coming out! Which I'm really excited for! How about you guys?
My old but reliable and comfortable NIKE Lunarlon. I say failed because I had to do some unnecessary PP that should have been covered as shot. Nevertheless, here it is. Lesson learned.
