Sometimes I’m such a Faerie!

But it is in our nature to fly high

Dance in the glow of silliness

Dizzy and dithering as a bumbling Boo! Bee

This was my favourite of Jan’s photo shoot.

Look at those eyes, awwww…

Burning brightest Amber…

Like toffee apples…

Making that hard crunch in your mind…

That fermented anticipation of your lips coaxed saliva…

And that, that….. ummm! as the bite, breaks, that hard glazed skin…

Lost in the rush of juices…sweet…sweet…surrender!!!

Meeting a new model and trying some things out. The model had brought little costume wings, but they not that visually impactful, so i brought this together in photoshop with wings generated in Midjourney.

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you, because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

~Roald Dahl

Taken on the Oregon coast, where old forests meet with the ocean, and the mist creates a wonderful, ethereal glow in the sunlight. I can imagine all sorts of magic here.

"If you should catch a fairy,

And place it in a jar,

Be sure to treat it kindly,

And do not take it far -

This fairy is not for the keeping.

It has a home, you see.

The forest is a wonderful place

And fairies must live free."

“Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,

For I would ride with you upon the wind,

Run on the top of the dishevelled tide,

And dance upon the mountains like a flame.”

― W.B. Yeats, The Land of Heart's Desire

In a grotto in Baltimore on St. Patrick's Day I captured this image of a Faerie playing beautifully strange music.

We don't believe in them.

Our loss.

I've now seen the chairs in daylight and without snow. Not nearly so bewitching and beguiling. They are white molded plastic and sell for over $900 a piece. Not that I wouldn't want one...

The Fairy Forest at Redwood Park in Surrey is an enchanting place. You never know what the faeries will be up to until you venture in to see.

Had a blast with the kids and Jen and our cameras ... many more to come.

This is almost SOOC only did a touch of contrast. To me it reminds me of a fairy tale book I had with illustrations. (c) 2012
