All kinds of stuff grows here! There are watermelons, strawberries, grapes, corn, pumpkins and cherries!

Faerie je riječ iz kasnog XVI vijeka koja znači vila.

Simboli koji su korišćeni:

Ogledalo - portal ili kapija u druga carstva

Pletenice - prirodna ljepota

Šiljate (vilinske) uši - bliža povezanost sa prirodom; simbol lepote i posebnosti; besmrtnost

Leptir - transformacija; sloboda; ponovno rođenje

Krug - jedinstvo i večnost

Zlato - simbol bogatstva i magije

Pastelne boje(roze, lavande i svetlo plave) - često se koriste za prikaz ćudljive i nežne prirode vila

I gave my faerie a new hair doo yesterday. This is the style that I had originally envisioned for her. Cones on her head and a braid down the back. However, I didn't have enough of the hair to wrap cones. Though her style before was pretty, it has been bugging me that it wasn't what I envisioned, soooo, I ordered more hair and ta da!

In the alternate plane of the Elvendale this dragon was born. She watches over the elemental elves and keeps their magic from flowing into chaos.

Designed for Nuju Metru's dragon contest.

This piece was inspired by the nadia's sail pieces and the trans light blue ball and socket parts from hero factory.

Being a grandmother is really the most wonderful thing to be. I am enjoying ever second spent with this creature.

I love when light from the sun produces flares and its own natural bokeh. The streams of light often produce magical effects. This one triggered my imagination, as the "orb" on the lower right resembled a face peeking out from the leaves when I first looked at it. If you're Irish, do faeries follow you wherever you go? :-)

Fun at the Ren. Festival!

Into the woods

Maia's reluctant dad, Brann Islwyn. The Prince of Earth and Fire, one half of the Elemental Princes of the Court of the Summerlands. He doesn't like wearing shirts.

Those tattoos, yo... took me 8 hours altogether. o.O But it was worth it, he is finally complete! ^_^ Now to redo his twin's tattoo as well... sigh.

P.S.: His name essentially means "Fire below the Grove", being the Prince of Earth and Fire, which is the inspiration for his tattoo design.

Brann is an Iplehouse Eric, and belongs to Azurielle. Faceup and tattoo work by me.

Having trouble with the title on this one.

... 'Bathed in Magic', 'Sun Bathing', 'Laundry Day - Faerie Style' .... sigh*

This is a tidal pool reflecting the sky with the sand in the foreground giving it an almost surreal feel. Why not add a Faerie to the magic right?

I am in the process of creating images that will be entered into CAPA's annual 'Altered Reality' competition. It's coming up at the end of the month and as an individual member my entry consists of four images.

This is definitely going to be one of them.

I'm on a Faerie kick this year ... don't ya know.

The wings belong to my granddaughter who has let me use them for all sorts of cool ideas.

A little orange faerie and hot pink flowers :)

Interesting lady standing near the front door of this event. Quick snap amd back to work.

This is a Faerie from our garden, she came from Cornwall and lives out there with some other Cornish Faerie Folk. I bought her in for a little photoshoot for today brief of "dreamy."

Its a tad over processed, not sure if that is my limitations or the phone. (all my images are taken with a phone)

1910/20's saw the heyday of 'spirit photography', when the Spiritualist movement fed the insatiable hunger of the war bereaved, and unscrupulous photographers made a handsome living producing portraits with ghostly images of a loved one lost in the war hovering in the background.

Knowledge of photography was not widespread at this time and few understood that the 'spirit' could be introduced by a simple double exposure on the same photographic plate.

As a result, many Spiritualists were encouraged to believe that the camera could 'see' what the naked eye could not, a belief which helped legitimise the Cottingley fairy photographs.
