Possibly one of my favourite photoshopped work, the idea of this is someone lost, he trying to find the right path but down the line he fading away.
If anyone would like to know how I did this, leave a comment and i will try my best to help and hopefully you can do some cool things with this effect.

Baker Pioneer Cabin, Oregon City. This was a test shot of my recently acquired antique 5x7 camera using enlarger paper as a negative. For some reason it was way over-exposed, but I thought it still looked pretty cool.
Techical details: Conley Model XV 5x7 folding box camera circa 1909, Wollensak Regular shutter, Scientific Lens Company Antistigmat no 3 Lens, Ilford RC VC Pearl paper cut down from 8x10, no filter, exposed around ISO 6, developed in Liquidol 1+9, cell-phone scanned and then converted in PS.

Although the gorgeous colors of summer flowers are fading fast, they are being replaced by some splashes of beautiful fall colors here in Western Massachusetts.
This is one of my favorite places in Iceland. I pay a visit to this rock (Stapi) every time I travel around the country, which is unfortunatly only once or twice per year.
The milky way in transit westbound begins to fade losing the battle to light pollution from the city of San Jose and the south bay area communities. Those ant hill along the horizon are actually Mount Hamilton, Copernicus Peak and the ridge line of the Diablo range. At the Summit of Mount Hamilton is James Lick Observatory, the worlds first permanently occupied mountaintop observatory at the summit of Mount Hamilton at 4209 ft above sea level.
In this scene the milky way is begining to set as it also begins fading into obscurity, you can clearly see the degradation of star light and darkness from 35 miles away. To the natural eye the milky way was clearly visible where I made this image, The mountains of the Diablo range played a beautiful role in shielding a huge amount of light pollution which was visibly dominating the dark sky along the summit of mt hamilton. I was pleased at the way this image showcased the battle of the night sky and industrial waste of unused light. Although i was happy to witness the cosmic light from within the outer rim of the bay area, i couldnt help by dismayed by the natural beauty of the night lost in light.

Racing along in the fading light away from Bealiba, G528 guides 8 loaded cement hoppers North as 9157 to Mildura.
9157 was operated as an 'extra' service to Mildura as 9101/2 had not been operating back as 9102 Sunday Night/Monday Mornings and as 9101 on Monday Nights/Tuesday Morning for the past 3 weeks due to a decrease in loading. The container train had been stabled in Merbein from Saturday morning till Tuesday night.
This was the last cement train to operate from North Geelong to Mildura in physical cement hoppers. The hoppers then returned Thursday Night/Friday Morning to Gheringhap empty. This service will now be carted in containers from Appleton Dock.
The Waurn Ponds - Somerton cement train remains as the last movement of cement hoppers, however this will cease on Wednesday 23rd December 2015.

First Leeds acquired two early Leyland Olympians from Bristol to compliment the native Roe examples. They stood out like sore thumbs with the curved lower windscreen compared to the others ! A fairly rare photograph showing its original fleet number of 5001 with Leeds and operating on the 733 before the entire route was recast and renumbered.
