I love to watch cormorants fly! I think they're one of the easiest species to identify while they're flying.

Life it seems, will fade away, drifting further every day, getting lost within myself, nothing matters no one else.

Feel the rain like an English summer
Hear the notes from a distant song
Stepping out from a back drop poster
Wishing life wouldn't be so long

A view of the Boomerang building from July 2021 when the surrounding blocks were still in construction. This was taken near the end of a day in London just for photography. My first dedicated photo day - and I loved it! The light was dropping and a heavy rainfall was on the way, beginning to obscure the developing sunset. It gave some interesting and ominous clouds that I felt contrasted well with the remaining light from the low sun. Gear used was a Canon EOS 6D MKI and a vintage 1989 Canon EF 28-80mm f/2.8-4.0L

One of my favourite views in Tasmania - the Leven Canyon in the North West. The Leven River snakes through the Loongana Range and flows into Bass Strait near the town of Ulverstone.
An elaborate window of a derelict mill building in Slaithwaite, (pronounced 'Slau-it'), West Yorkshire.

Its nose logo faded but its heritage paint still intact, DM&IR 403 leads a northbound Minntac through Gilbert.
It took a long time but it seems spring/summer has finally arrived in Bavaria, atleast in the valley. IC 2012 passes through Altstaeten with the Bavarian Alpas in the background. The train featured a unusual 1x1 arrangement rather than the normal arrangement of 2 of on the front, perhaps a new arrangement to eliminate the run around at Immenstadt.
Portwrinkle is a small coastal village in south-east Cornwall. It is at the western end of Whitsand Bay. It was traditionally a fishing village and the old 17th century walls of the pilchard cellars are still standing, although they have been incorporated into housing. The village has a harbour and two beaches.
