I'd try some green on her. She will bee my little fairy, Tinker Bell girl. Now she needs some sweet looking clothes :D
Conradin is named after the character in Saki's short story Sredni Vashtar. Not sure if the name will stick yet, but for now I really like it.
He is a Glorydoll Louis, and sort of my grail doll. Glorydoll the company went down in flames in 2010 or 2011 I think, they had always been bad with communications and filling orders on time but at the end they flat ran off with people's money. So I had to buy Conradin on the secondhand market on DoA. As I recall I rather overpaid too... but given that this is one of my all time favorite bjd sculpts, possibly THE most favorite, I suppose I can forgive myself somewhat for pouncing on the first sale thread I saw. It was a bit of a turning point, too, as at the time (2012 I think?) I had sold all my dolls and had left the bjd hobby, but this little brat's haughty waif face lured me right back in.
I don't regret it. I redid his faceup recently, and I think this is my best faceup work to date (which isn't necessarily saying a lot, but hey any improvement is always encouraging).

But I think it might be that as an analogy.

You know, those things hiding in the shadows is a part of you, sometimes, they are beautiful and creepy.
