So I had my first two wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and appart from having the anaesthetic not working on me and then one of the teeth breaking and leaving roots in my gums, it was ok. My swelling and pain quickly went away after about 6 hours and bleeding stopped after 12 hours. I thought I was going to be fine but man I had such an awful night. You know one of those feverish nights when you have all these weird dreams and you keep waking up constantly and you sweat and feel awful.... Yeah fun times... Well happy Australia Day! I forgot it was this weekend so I will have to sit back and watch all my friends enjoying the BBQ while I slowly slurp my mashed liquidy food...

So we had a local event and first prize for the photo contest is a faceup. This is the result.

Blake, from what I know, is Irish/Gaelic in descent. He's got smaller eyes than the average Westerner... And he's a soldier fresh outta war and coming home. Scruffy and prolly harboring more emotional baggage than the facial hairs I've painted. LOL.

Miyu got new eyes, so I couldn't help but do a little photoshoot with her again :)

Oh I'm so happy the faceups turned out decent, It's always so scary to work on a faceup! Especially when doing the lines, I feel like I can screw it up at any moment!

But thankfully everything worked out.

Now they just need their wigs and eyes [And clothes of course haha].

Faceup I made in April. Eyebrows and upper eyelids are pretty raw. I was going to finish them but now I guess I'll start all over again.
