She was kind! It means, I didn't had to redo the lashes and eyebrows hundred times! ;) I'm quite happy about how the colors come through the camera.
Started on these last night at around 10. Stayed up late cuz I forgot I was supposed to bring Leighton to a meetup this afternoon. Finished him at around 2:45 today. Everybody else is just about done too. I just need to give them lashes and put some finishing touches on them.

The carved bust is a gorgeous work by the awesome Dr.Krow. This bust + head (not pictured) will be painted by me. Lohcca is only borrowing this bust so I could display her on these pictures.

Poor Venitu! I have had this doll for almost a year and only now did his faceup. I've even thought about selling him, as his very realistic face and proportions doesn't fit in my collection of big-headed, stylized, doll-like bjds at all. But I just can't. He's too beautifully sculpted, and he'd be too difficult to reacquire if I should sell him and then regret it.
I still need to gloss his lips. He's currently sitting on my table looking very undignified with cling wrap and the sticky beginning of a custom hard-cap wig on his head. I've made some custom eyes for him, too, and the final coat of resin on those should be cured in a couple days. It's going to rain all week, so I can't blush his hands until the weekend. Meanwhile, I'm going to try to draft some pants for him... and try to choose a name. I'm thinking Lir, or Leander...
I'm also thinking that since he's here to stay (he'd better be, after all this work), I should consider getting one more realistic style doll so that he'll have a friend (and/or lover, and/or enemy, lol). Maybe a Soom Dia boy.
She is a bit like one Ante that I did a little while back. Especially because I used the same colour wig and the same coat for the photos haha.
But I used different colours for lips and blush. And her eyebrows are somewhat different in shape as well. But the overall look remains the same :P
Anyway, she was fun to work on again, even though it feels like repeating when you get the same instructions for the same sculpts ;)
But she remains as cute as a button, haha.

The body doesn't match this head, the wig and eyes are temporary and the face-up doesn't work out very well. That's one head full of problems D:
