This guy made me smile, I'm not sure what he'd seen, but his expression is fantastic. After my experiences of travelling some of Florida over the last week, it could be due to him just finding out the price of gas ! :O

Susie my daughter-in-law having a go on the demo massage chair in a store.

I had a go too: it was great low down, as in the first pic, but it was quite unpleasant higher up. Quite a shock, as you can see!

NO substitute for the real thing, and as it has digital controls almost certain to go wrong as soon as the warranty runs out.

At least if your masseur dies on the job (so to speak), the money already spent is not wasted.

Some of you might say that I don't have any ideas, just same picture, same person, same background, same pose, same technique, same location, you are right. There's nothing new here, but for me it's not about technique, location, editing or pose, it's about a picture, a documentation, it's about emotion, expression from an innocent child eager to see the world, curious eyes and mind that wanted to know everything.

For me as a father each frame is different, I admit it that from a technical side some of my pictures deserved for a trash bin but just to let you know, I rarely "delete" my shot especially my son picture, each unusable shot that are not "good" enough to be shared here, too blur, out of focus, shaking, each of them I keep. I take it as a learning curves.

There is a reason why some of the picture blurred, shaking, it's has a story on their own. Sudden movement of my son is among the reason and sometimes when everything is perfect in place, there is a distraction that take away my son attention from the camera, walking or running in an instant and a blurred picture tell a story better than a static solid picture, it may not look great but it tells a story and for me a picture that tell a story is a thousand times better than a "good" picture that doesn't have a story to tell.

Waited long to capture this cutest expression, when the kid (my sister-in-laws kid) stares at me like this when I go behind the camera and call his name :-)

These are Brenna's images from the ChelmsfordPhotoMarathon. I particularly love her 'float' one with the canoeist and I love the bokeh in 'expression'. This was a really good challenge for us both.

Go on give her an explore!!!!

A couple of weekends ago now, I took a trip down to Devon to see my cousin, her partner and their fairly recent baby, Betty.

Betty is now about 21 months old or so, and is an absolute delight. She's so well behaved, funny in both behaviour and sense of humour (she has her own jokes already!), and just a joy to be around. I've never spent much time around babies and small children as an adult, so I suppose it was a new experience for me as well as her, and now I'm wondering if she's even influenced my opinions on having children!

My little second cousin is literally just the best thing ever. I can't wait to see her again.

A bit of fun for this weeks NP group challenge.

When there's no-one around that wants their picture taking, take one (or 9) of yourself!

Had this idea a while ago and this weeks 'Face' challenge seemed a good reason to get on and do it.

This is my mini-artwork. In this artwork, i'd like to show my expression through strokes. As you can see that some are smooth white strokes on a blue-ish square that represents me being sad n the white brush strokes represent the tears. As tears are delicate and soft that just runs down your face.

well, that's my mini interpretation for my mini artwork. :)
