Technical difficulty - 01. No skills needed for this one dog stance. Boomer loves a good updraft from the fan. After being away from my boy a couple of weeks and not having many ideas for expressions I thought this would be a change. Boomer's typical expressions are only for food, taking it easy and a good run in the field. He does no exciting ball chasing, dock diving, herding, agility, or cutesy tricks.
He's just a good ole bird dawg, happy to be by someone's side.
One day my 18-year-old daughter Mara will tell me she's too old for stuffed animals, but that day isn't today, and for that I'm grateful!
(I know, I know. Judging by her expression here, you might say that day certainly seems like today, but you'd be wrong. She told me she loves her little Peter Rabbit, and she would never lie to me, just to spare my feelings. Would she? Nah.)
If anyone knows chimpanzee facial expressions I would love to know the emotions going on here.
Nori (the baby) was running around causing a disturbance and the rest of the troop was running around making noises.
~Update~ This is Ruthie and her caregiver told me this about the facial expressions:
"First expression showing teeth is a fear grimace. The second was a vocalization, probably an alarm call if the group was wound up but could be a couple of other things. The last is just Ruthies relaxed or tired face"
MUCH appreciated EGM!
This is one of my first attempts at Jump Photography. As you can see the timing wasn't perfect . And the jump was free style too without any synchronization ! Still I love the expressions!... This one is unedited but have plans to edit it into a better picture.
Today this Cooper's hawk decided to use our cottonwood tree as a good place to do some cleaning and preening! It didn't seem to be very worried about me, and I took way too many shots, but I couldn't help myself! These are some of my favorites! (Loveland, Colorado, USA)
Expression: Frustration - I wonder why this lady keeps on hitting the ground with her umbrella. I have a lot of 'maybe' in my mind. And one of it is 'Frustration of life'.

MIME - acting out a story through body motions, without use of speech
mime artists on storyline of the presentation shows exaggerated facial expressions as they are an important channel of nonverbal communication.
Expression drawings - trying to find the right 'confused' expression for Syndrome when Mirage storms out on him. This was really hard, for some reason.
Adj. 1. agape - with the mouth wide open as in wonder or awe; "the gaping audience"; "we stood there agape with wonder"; "with mouth agape"

This is my first video show on flickr. You can read more about it in my blog here
I know the slide show is fast little bit but this is due to flickr limitation on the duration of any video uploaded here.
