Part of downtown Palo Alto in California has been converted to a car free zone, with restaurants operating outdoors. People got used very quickly to the new mask-less normal, not many patrons were them. The trees are decorated with small LED lights, which gives a nice background for this reflection shot on a car window with the fast f/0.95 Dream Lens.
I processed a realistic and a paintery HDR photo from two RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

A wonderful morning in Gold Coast. We've got such a rare great looking fiery sky, which lasted and lasted and blew up twice. I've picked a rock at the beach because I liked the puddle surrounding it and the light playing at the sand textures. The receding water reflections were an added bonus.

I enjoyed the single shots, too.
The core is created by some layers,
and kinds of colors can be seen in this single shot.

The fireworks is the highlight of the "Düsseldorf" fair.
Many 1000.000 viewers trace the spectacle from the "Rheinwiesen", the "Altstadtufer, the 2 bridges and on board of many ships on the "Rhine".
I wish you a wonderful sunny weekend!

I wasn't planning on taking any photos today, until I saw the explosion of purple in Bournemouth Gardens today. I'm sure they were not there last week!

I bought a sound trigger and I really like it!
This is my first but not the last one with the trigger!

It's down to this
I've got to make this life make sense
Can anyone do what I've done
I missed life
I missed the colours of the world
Can anyone go where I am
'Cause now again I've found myself
So far down, away from the sun
That shines into the darkest place
I'm so far down, away from the sun again
Away from the sun again

A supervolcano explosion generated these ash flows that eroded into these cone shaped structures resembling (supposedly) pine trees. A supervolcano explosion in this area is the largest explosion known so far, with 5500 cubic kilometer rock ejected, more than five time the size of the Yellowstone explosion. Enough rock and ash to fill the grand canyon. This explosion was one of the smaller ones (as these explosions go).
