Autumn has been hot and golden with sere grasses and dry leaves. These grasses and low herby vegetation have been enhanced with a bit of PS wavy filters. The golden light will change now that we are deeper into wintry conditions but there is a last blast of warm this week. If anyone doubts the influence of climate change then several +20 degrees in May may change their minds. For Sliders Sunday.

Taken with my 35mm f/1.8 hand held.
Part of downtown Palo Alto in California has been converted to a car free zone, with restaurants operating outdoors. People got used very quickly to the new mask-less normal, not many patrons were them. The trees are decorated with small LED lights, which gives a nice background for this reflection shot on a car window with the fast f/0.95 Dream Lens.
I processed a realistic and a paintery HDR photo from two RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

On my trip yestarday exploring the volcanic eruption in Fimmvorduhals I saw this massive explosion when the hot lava rushes down the snow.
The black spots are flying rocks from the explosion. The shot is taken just before I ran like hell !
