An intense sunset at St Kilda pier. It had been quite overcast leading up to this but then this explosion of colour burst through the clouds just in time for the sunset.

These clusters of deep blue wild dogwood berries were all along the "walls" of the bike path. They looked like little explosions... like fireworks.
Seen along the Head of the Meadow Trail, near Head of the Meadow beach on the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Here's one I took coming back from the Royal Arch - I just sat and watched as this unfolded above the Flatirons after my hike. If you look hard you can see a very small cresent moon due to the extreme wide angle lens I was using.
It's amazing how much fun a girl can have in field of wild flowers with a camera and her lensbaby. :-)
A spot-billed duck (Anas poecilorhyncha) was enjoying to its fill during the splash bath. The sound it produced was a treat to joy from the field. Water droplets were everywhere around by its action which made a lovely frame. Pics was from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India.
