"The Achill Explosion"
I haven't shared much of my landscape body of work here in Ireland (saving them up for a photoessay that I'll share in the coming weeks) but this light, today, was too pretty not to share.

I wasn't planning on taking any photos today, until I saw the explosion of purple in Bournemouth Gardens today. I'm sure they were not there last week!

I bought a sound trigger and I really like it!
This is my first but not the last one with the trigger!

It's down to this
I've got to make this life make sense
Can anyone do what I've done
I missed life
I missed the colours of the world
Can anyone go where I am
'Cause now again I've found myself
So far down, away from the sun
That shines into the darkest place
I'm so far down, away from the sun again
Away from the sun again

On the evening of Friday 10 August, was formed in southern Caracas this powerful system of clouds and despite her beauty caused havoc in the area of the Valles del Tuy. I took this picture from the balcony of my apartment. The following link had more information about what happened
When I saw this explosion of clouds and standing in the wildness just to enjoy this view and forgotten to click my camera. Luckily, I did manage to get a picture of this beautiful image which mother nature gifted to us.
Close-up of tiny weeds (less than 3 inches!). It's like an explosion of happiness in a dark time. Grateful that Spring sprung during this quarantine time. Think these are called butterweed. I love that you can see different stages of blooming in this small section.
Another sunset from Murawai.
Combination of 3 exposures by masking and applied saturation, color vibrance and final touch of Dodge and burn tool on sky.
Explosion of Life - I used an ultra wide lens for the last set of photos I took of this amazing tree. I'm very glad I thought of it because it gave me that amazing explosion of branches I was looking for.
As we watch this damned virus explode over our country, I'm going to think of this tree as a symbol of how we will rise up after we have triumphed over it.
