I saw AJ off as he starts a six month journey today. He'll be cycling and adventuring down the west coast and I can only wish him the best. Around 12:30 him and I and our friends Daniel and Robert all set out on a grand bike ride. We started down Fraser Highway towards Langley to grab some last minute equipment for his adventure. Afterwards we headed down 200th towards the border. It was a very sobering ride, seeing everything where it was. It made me realize just how small the world was. As we turned onto 8th that feeling intensified.

After crossing the border, the four of us took a small run down D street in Blaine towards Peace Arch. The sun made the whole world a warm orange tone. An ocean breeze cooled the air. The moment felt like it should have been sad, but it wasn't, rather it was quite happy. I felt hopeful for the future. It was a very blockbuster setting for our farewell. The story of how I know him will have to wait until he gets back, I promised him I would wait. In the meantime send him some well wishes for his journey, I'm sure he could use them.

If you look closely, there is a plane in the sky...

Sunrise over Vancouver, Christmas morning...

This street is definitely one of the most popular streets for cherry blossom. Every single year, there will be tons of people coming here for selfies, photos, and drone video. I was very lucky to come very early to avoid the crowds. I took quite a lot of shots but this one is the one I like the most because of the photographer in the frame.

It adds a bit more to the scenery! This is probably my favorite part of the spring. If you are allergic to the flowers, I don't think you will like spring :)

A spring time stroll along the shores of Boundary Bay. The Crescent Beach Pier is a magical place, any time of year, to watch the sunset, shorebirds or sailboats pass by. Captured at Crescent Beach in Surrey ~ May 26, 2014

Not bad for an iPhone shot. My DSLR took a swim that morning so it was all I had to shoot from up here. Such an incredible place and the view from up here was just spectacular! My wife and I backpacked 40+ miles in three days to get here and back. I so wish we could've spent more time...I also wish I hadn't made my camera walk the plank.

I had to laugh at how fixated I became at capturing this rock! I photographed it for an hour, tweaking the settings until I got an image that I was happy with. Hope you enjoy!

Had such a great time today with this little owlet and its parents. Watching its mom feeding it was very special.

Lighting wasn't great, but the little one didn't quite understand and just kept turning its head when I asked it to move to a different branch ;)
