Epsom Explore are a new coach tours and holidays company set up by both Coachpoint of Aldershot and Lewis Coaches of Thamesmead. Currently there are 2 coaches painted in an allover grey livery ahead of branding next year.
First to wear the scheme was Scania K360EB6 / Irizar PB C52FT FA12ENG. This has now been joined by Mercedes-Benz Tourismo C49FT BX14OMS, new to Marchant of Cheltenham in 2014, as seen at the Coachpoint Windlesham yard in December 2020.
Added the scarf from the Wayfarer outfit. I plan to include this color, as well as a series of other colors as well, plus an option without the scarf.

At the peak of tulip mania, in March 1637, some single tulip bulbs sold for more than 10 times the annual income of a skilled craftsman.
In an auction held in Holland in February 1637, 99 lots of tulip bulbs fetched a staggering 90,000 guilders, more than $3.5 million in today's money. Tulipomania had reached its height, and its story is told in just one of the fascinating sections of Anna Pavord's wonderful book on this most seductive of flowers.

So, my good friend Brian Cavanaugh and i are going to shoot a wedding together on the 30th of this month, and he has been pretty rusty. He gave me a call and was like "Broseidon king of the Brocean, i havent shot in a while. Wanna go shooting today?", and me being the eager man i am said, "Ah hells to the yeah bro, lets go shoot some stuff". Usually this entails brian and i finding a location and taking pictures of each other. Im not complaining, but i wanted a change. So i called up a friend of mine named Sarah, shes a cool cat and a trooper might i add! She was posing for us left and right in 105 degree weather! YEAH SON. At first she was a little uneasy, but she got the whole picture posing thing down. So kudos to her :). Thats all i have to really say about this set. Oh, one more thing. Im proud of the little 5D. I was shooting at ISO 800-1000 for these shots because the area was really shaded and dark. But it still produced very vibrant, sharp, beautiful images. So thank Mr. 5D. I commend you.

Several shots from a recent trip to Kananaskis lakes I have been there many times but for some reason never explored this part, glad I did very nice locations for sure.

The annual Alton Bus Rally, one of the biggest in the UK, took place on a gloriously sunny July 15th 2018 and attracted upwards of 150 buses & coaches including Treloar College of Alton MAN 19.290 / MOBIpeople Explorer C15DL TR18OAR.
Last week I joined the Get Pushed group. I was looking for inspiration, and hoped I would find some here. So this is my first Get Pushed try! I got paired with ever-creative and fun Emeraldgirl. It was a pleasure going through her photostream - it made me laugh out loud more than once. Here's what she had in mind for me:
"So my challenge to you is to [...] do a selfie where you are wearing red in an otherwise monochrome setting. And the trick is to express how red makes you feel in that setting. Find a spot that is dark, dreary and otherwise dull and really pop that red colour with emotion. No black and white with selective colour though - it should come right from the camera."
I was struck by how she challenged me to do exactly what I would never do normally. First of all, as a rule I don´t do selfies - or at least do not post them here. I´m definitely not model material, and I am kind of a private person - can you tell? And then, I don´t like red. It´s just not my colour.
Even so, I got excited about this challenge right away. How to fulfil the challenge without compromising my own feelings about it. Inspiration hit me like a truck, my mind filled with all kind of wild ideas. Like starting a fire in the woods, or stumbling in front of a train at night. I´ve been advised not to, suppose they´re right, I worried a bit about getting fined too;-). And red, what does it stand for? Love, warmth, sensuality, danger... I got together all the red props I could find, which weren´t many as you would expect. (I did discover I have 3 pairs of red shoes! How weird.) I even borrowed a pretty red party dress from my neighbour. But in the end, I fell for those beautiful red autumn leaves - I rescued the last few of them out of the garden this afternoon.
Now if you think this was easy, think again. There I was, lying on the cold - dull grey! - kitchen floor, trying to get those leaves to stick to my face, all but buttered up my face. I only had a little compact mirror to try to spread them evenly. Had to call my son down to pull the trigger (I have no remote). Had to do the sticking-leaves-on-my-face-thing over again because we burst out laughing. And again. So this is how I feel in red, and I think it shows: ridiculous!
Thanks for the inspirational challenge Emeraldgirl. I´m still contemplating some of the ideas it gave me.
