El complejo Po-i Kalan comprende una mezquita, una madrasa y el famoso minarete de Kalyan, este último del siglo XII y las dos anteriores del siglo XVI.

The Po-i Kalan complex includes a mosque, a madrasa, and the famous Kalyan minaret, the latter dating from the 12th century and the two earlier ones from the 16th century.
Bukhara is the fifth most populous city in Uzbekistan and the capital of the province of the same name. It has a population of 323,000.
Its historic center was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
