Explored!! Sep 27, 2009 #244
PinkFlutterby was having too much fun catching water drops. So, I stole her idea and tried out my flash on the 7D. It does a decent job in 'strobist' mode. Now, I can't wait for the 480EX-II flash I ordered to arrive.

Taken on Whitesands Bay, Pembrokeshire on the last nice day we had. So glad that we went for a walk along the coastpath that day. Explored 30/01/2016
I took this photo last Saturday in Farnsfield, Notts. with my Canon Powershot G15 camera.
Edited in Lightroom 5, Topaz Studio and Photoshop Elements 11.
I used the Color Punch Smudge II Texture pre-set in Topaz Studio as a starting point, tweaking the color theme and other sliders on the interface to get this arty effect - lots of nerdish fun :-)

Happy 19th birthday to me :D
This is soooo old. Like from two years ago. It was one of the first selfies I ever took. So I had no idea how to set focus and whatever and blahblah. But last weekend I went on a processing spree and re-edited a bunch of old pictures. So I have a lot to post I guess.
Anyways. I've had a busy last couple of days! Valentine's Day here was yesterday and that was great :D today is my birthday, and tomorrow 9 months anniversary with Will. Plus a LOT to study, results in hardly any time for Flickr.
So I'll catch up with your streams soon!
Are you kidding me? Can't even remember how long it had been since I'd even heard of Explore lol...

Whee, my third Explore photo in just over a year. This time a photo that isn't even my favorite from the batch I uploaded it with. Seems that if you label something "Street Photography" everyone wants to look at it, and then you'll get lucky with an explore promotion.
On this same day I took photos I felt were far better and more interesting than this one (check out my account!). The focus isn't even where I wanted it to be! But I uploaded it anyway because the mist was kinda neat. But really, street photography is overrated in my opinion, it's just you with your camera shooting pics of people minding their own business, throwing some dumb filter on it, and proclaiming it as some beautiful slice of life. It doesn't mean there cannot be good photographs taken in the street, I just think people get a little too excited about the genre.
In any case, I thank you guys for the favs and supports. Please keep your resolutions high, your photos water-mark-less, and your art humble.
