Yesterday we had a great day which started with us going to a state park in New Jersey. Mid-day Alena put Arosha to sleep in his portable bed which allowed us to go to an orchard later on in the day.
The place was packed. I think everyone in the area decided not to waste their last days off summer this year and do something. There was traffic in all directions around that place, thousands of people and practically no apples left on the trees.
But since we got there later in the day the light was great. I think I’ll have a couple of good shots in addition to this one to post later on.

Digger and myself went out to take photos tonight and we were feeling a little on edge so we ventured out to the 101 and Pima area to see how the crops are looking this time of year. Well, the corn is over 8 feet tall so we found our location for the night. I ended up taking more of the light painting shots and Digger had some other things on his camera.
This shot was similar to the other one but I wanted to throw in a little "Matt G. Harris" style too it and did a little more light painting. This was the last attempt at this shot because Digger was having trouble with my remote (he is a Canon guy so we blamed it on Nikon being foreign haha). I first ran down and did the orb and ran back. Once I got back, Digger walked along the sides with the green cathod from Matt and walked back. Once he returned, I used my red EL wire and waved it all over the center dirt path all the way back to the orb. I really like this shot a lot too!
I did some post editing in Lightroom and I tried to bring out more red from the EL wire but it didn't work too well for some reason.
