Day 200/365 - Made it to day 200 already. This project is going quite fast. Took this one a few weeks ago at Cottonwood House.
"أحتاج رئة ثالثة تجلب لي أكسجيناً لا يعرف فصل الإختناق
رئة تجعلني أستشق القرب دون الحاجة إلى النداء والإلتفات
رئة تُنكر هواء مملوء برائحة الإنتظار ، بعيدة عن لسعات الفقد والحنين ."

Orlestone is three hundred and eighty eight hectares in size. It is predominantly mixed native broadleaves and a small percentage of conifer.
The area is a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), managed principally for birds and butterflies.
There is a medium sized car park and picnic area, with a height barrier at the main entrance. . All roads are unsurfaced. As it is very low lying, it has a tendency to flood in winter.

I truly do not know if this is a Tremella fungus or not. I found a bunch of mushroom spores growing under one of our outside Christmas decorations. Google image search thinks this is a type of Tremella fungus but I think it is growing next to a Parasol or Shaggy Parasol mushroom through the mulch we have in our front yard.
Can these two species grow next to one another?
This is a 1:1 macro shot at an ƒ/6.3 with a Lume Cube helping to lighten up the edges a bit.

Blueberries is very healthy all the time :-)
Here we enter the macro world with a bokeh capture of an amarican blueberry in Norway.
Wikipedia:
Blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum) are perennial flowering plants with indigo-colored berries. They are classified in the section Cyanococcus within the genus Vaccinium. Vaccinium also includes cranberries, bilberries and grouseberries. Commercial "blueberries" are native to North America, and the "highbush" varieties were not introduced into Europe until the 1930s.
Blueberries are usually prostrate shrubs that can vary in size from 10 centimeters (3.9 in) to 4 meters (13 ft) in height. In the commercial production of blueberries, the smaller species are known as "lowbush blueberries" (synonymous with "wild"), while the larger species are known as "highbush blueberries".
The leaves can be either deciduous or evergreen, ovate to lanceolate, and 1–8 cm (0.39–3.15 in) long and 0.5–3.5 cm (0.20–1.38 in) broad. The flowers are bell-shaped, white, pale pink or red, sometimes tinged greenish. The fruit is a berry 5–16 millimeters (0.20–0.63 in) in diameter with a flared crown at the end; they are pale greenish at first, then reddish-purple, and finally dark purple when ripe. They are covered in a protective coating of powdery epicuticular wax, colloquially known as the "bloom". They have a sweet taste when mature, with variable acidity. Blueberry bushes typically bear fruit in the middle of the growing season: fruiting times are affected by local conditions such as altitude and latitude, so the peak of the crop, in the northern hemisphere, can vary from May to August.
Exploring art at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich UK ... a fabulous exhibition where you can acutally enter some of the installations... a lot of fun. Reflections, textures... if you like taking through glass and reflections go take some pics. FREE!

The girl is a seventeen years of age model from Jakarta,Indonesia.
Old soldiers never die they only fade away.
But the young ones do not die, no they are cut down instead.
And someone pulled the trigger, gave the order, held the sword,
And some one wrote the advert in the paper that they read.
Thy will be done,
But you won't get your hands on my son.
You can wait till kingdom come.

Today's Post finds me in the court yard of where I live. Looking at one of the trees with #Nemo in full swing. It's not as bad as the news was saying it would be, but it's still snowing so we'll see how much we get! Day38/365 #project365 - Nemo

Found a piece of decaying equipment when I was out to capture the sunset. BTW....the sunset was a bust.
i had planned to get a photo of Comet Neowise in the night sky from the edge of my garden as has become somewhat customary in the recent weeks, unfortunately nature has conspired against me by providing blankets of cloud at the wrong time. though tonight the sky was clear, unfortunately, the comet has lost its brightness and is now barely descernable, I've added an arrow to point it out.
I am not sure what the light trail is from in the upper region, i never noticed anything pass, though it is very bright, i expect it is a reflection of a passing satellite though please note that the ISS passed around 1/2 hr earlier and further to the south.

Somewhat unusual to see rain streaks so close to my house but the surface humidity was only 51 percent. This almost looks like virga but the rain was reaching the ground just beyond the house. 26 minutes later, a rain/hail downpour that lasted only 4 minutes produced around a quarter of an inch of precipitation and pea size hail that covered the ground: www.flickr.com/photos/79387036@N07/40947522454/in/photost....
