Grilled Duck Breast on Onion Confit - Winterhaven Restaurant.
Julia didn't really enjoy the strong star-anise flavour in the onion confit, but the duck was divine, if a tad overcooked.

A little tuft of moss growing on a brick wall on my street. I love how mosses flourish in Winter. There's little clumps everywhere...
Duck Terrine with Blackcurrant Jelly - Arintji.
The chunks of duck and liver in the terrine were moist and very flavourful.

Just cooked tuna encrusted with coriander seeds among other things. Served with a nice smoked paprika mayo for some richness.

Segways still seem to be a bit of a novelty in Melbourne. I think they gave people a bit of a fright pushing Unwired wireless broadband brochures to them from a height.

2 large snapper heads and 6 necks from Lilian's dad has been tomyum'd, and now curried! :)
I used some store-bought seafood curry paste which was pretty good, although I did add some fresh lemongrass, grated ginger and daun kesom / Vietnamese hot mint to freshen it up.
2 more fish necks to go... possibly in a fish soup.

今更ですがEXILIM携帯ことW63CAが新規1円だったのに釣られてau新規契約してしまいますた（爆）。W63CAは08年冬モデルなので、在庫処分で安かったんですよね。それにしても今年の3月にドコモのサイバーショット携帯ことSo905iCSの白ロムを買って脱庭したばかりなのに。うむ。ちなみにこの写真はSo905iCSで撮りました。美しい。
こんなケータイばかり買わないで、素直にRICOHのGR DIGITAL2でも買っておけば良いのかも知れませんが（苦笑）。なんか、こう、ケータイなのに絵がキレイ！ってトコロに惹かれましてねぇ。
あと、iPhoneをいまだに購入しないのは、もう意地かと（苦笑）。どこまでiPhoneナシで我慢できるか？の自分内チキンレースっていうかナンていうか。

The silky flesh of the Murray Cod was very tasty indeed, although the deep fying left it on the greasy side.
