Seen in this 1972 view of the busy executive ramp at Washington National Airport, sleek North American NA-265-40 Sabreliner N125N is caught being positioned to park while sharing space with amongst others, a Lear-Jet, a Jetstar, DH125's, a Gulfstream II and to the right of her - Grumman Gulfstream I N741G.
Note the 'period' fuel bowser and the distant Washington Monument.

I am consistently amazed at how well the "Grinstein Green" has held up over the years, now going on 20 years old. Granted 9804 was among the final batch of 70mac's to recieve the treatment as a 1997 graduate of LaGrange, but even the first run of mac's from '93 have held up fairly well save for two decades of road grime. Not too bad for an ugly pain scheme...

Tryphena Cady was born 11 September 1804 in Fulton County, New York, the daughter of Daniel Cady (1773-1859) and Margaret Livingston (1785-1871). She was married in 1826 to Edward Bayard, successful lawyer and later homeopathic doctor. The couple did not have children. Tryphena was the older sister of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, but apparently was not a supporter of her sister’s advocacy of women’s rights. In Elisabeth Griffin’s book, “In Her Own Right: The Life of Elizabeth Cady Stantong”, Tryphena was noted as “tall, handsome, and, severe, a woman of ‘striking executive ability’ who managed the family’s investments . . .she was a strong-willed. independent, intelligent woman . . .” Tryphena Cady Bayard passed away on 1 May 1891.
U-MNUCXP cruses through Downers Grove Main St. passing the last unobstructed CB&Q signal bridge left on the Chicago Sub. I briefly spoke with a signal maintainer and he had mentioned the new signals will be up and running by Sept 1st.

It was back over to Guildford today (05/04/2021) to see what was happening on the rail replacement bus services. There's a blockade at Guildford Station meaning buses are running to Woking, Haslemere, Clandon, Farnham, North Camp and Gatwick Airport over the whole of the Easter weekend.
GWR have tasked a number of coach operators for their services whereas SWR are using Stagecoach, Safeguard, Arriva, Reptons, Falcon and Coachpoint among others.
These are scenes captured on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday at Farnham, Guildford and Clandon Stations.

I don't think brown was a very popular colour for P76s! Anyway, this looked fantastic regardless, and the double headlamps tell us it's an up-spec Executive model to boot. I believe these were popular as stock agents' company wheels...
I think the alloys were also Executive only?
Henshaws Executive Travel of Bourton on the Hill operate HC66 HEN, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo integral coach which was new to the Gloucestershire company in September 2016.
It was originally registered BV66 GVY and is seen here visiting Newquay, Cornwall in October 2018.
