With a new crew but nowhere to go. This empty oil train was held for hours in Broadford because of a brush fire about seven miles down the CSX rail line near Linden Hall. It looks sunny here but clouds were quickly moving in from the west as I took the photo. It was the last sun of the day.

Loaded JH Miller coal train, C-NAMPAM, is on the Fort Scott heading for Alabama with the assist of a 3 unit DPU set on the rear of the coal train.
A solid set of Executive Schemed BNSF SD70MAC's command this C-BTMMON loaded coal train bound for the Nelson Power Plant in Mossville, LA. BNSF 9772 and BNSF 9421 are seen at West Little York Road crossing headed southbound to Belt Junction, waiting for TTD2 to give the decision to proceed into the Houston Terminal Complex.
I never thought in a million years I'd see another Executive MAC leading but I guess I was wrong! BNSF 9653, I assume a rare PTC equipped MAC leads train 734 around Nickajack lake and up Raccoon Mountain into Chattanooga. This was absolutely one of my favorite chases, especially with the 70MAC leading! Descriptions of each shot will be attached below.

Former BN SD70MAC 9651 sits in Pekin, IL. Two executives in three days? I'll take it! Some of these were recently sold to PRLX so who knows how long the remaining ones have.
