Parked at Denver Union Station one day during mid-1977 was this 13 car Burlington Northern business special. The occasion is unknown, but two UP cars were borrowed. Up front is Heater Car 19. 19 Started life as Great Northern F7B 438B, a 1948 EMD product. In 1967, the redundant B-Unit was converted ot Heater Car 19. It passed to BN in 1970. It was retained by BN at the start of Amtrak and occasionally used for business car specials. It would later be retired and sold to the Lake Whatcom Railway in Wickersham, WA where it currently resides.
