Bell UH-1P Iroquois
The UH-1 evolved from a 1955 U.S. Army competition for a new utility helicopter. The Army employed it in various roles, including that of an armed escort or attack gunship in Vietnam. The initial Army designation was HU-1, which led to the common unofficial nickname of "Huey." All U.S. armed services adopted the model as did several other countries, and it was redesignated in 1962 as the UH-1 under a triservice agreement. The USAF ordered the UH-1F Huey in the early 1960s for support duties at missile sites, and TH-1F variants for instrument and hoist training and medical evacuation.
The USAF later ordered more capable versions of the Huey. The HH-1H incorporated a longer fuselage and larger cargo area. The USAF ordered these in 1970 as local base rescue helicopters to replace the HH-43 Huskie. The first of the USAF's UH-1Ns, a twin-engine utility version capable of cruising on one engine, was obtained in 1970.
The Huey on display served in South Vietnam with the 20th Special Operations Squadron flying dangerous, highly-classified missions inserting special operations personnel into Laos and Cambodia. In June 1969, it was converted into a UH-1P gunship equipped with two rocket pods and two miniguns.
The museum's UH-1P is configured and painted to appear as the UH-1F flown by Capt. Jim Fleming on Nov. 26, 1968. On this day, he braved intense enemy fire to rescue a small reconnaissance team that was about to be overrun by a much larger enemy force. For his bravery, Fleming was awarded the Medal of Honor.

The Mandolin evolved from the Lute via the Mandore in 17th and 18th century Italy. It became popular in the United States in the mid 19th century, where folowing an instrument produced in 1905 by Orville H. Gibson it adopted a flat back rather than the bowl shaped one. The bodies of modern Mandolins can be either pear shaped or tear drop shaped (i.e. with a scroll carved into the headstock). They also vary in the shape and position of the sound holes which impacts on the sound of the instrument.
Tear drop shaped Mandolins usually have f-shaped sound holes (normally in pairs, one to each side of the bridge). The American Gibson company called this design of Mandolin the Florentine or F-style.
This is a MF-5 Mandolin made by Collings Guitars of Austin, TX.
Mandolins are assigned the number 321.321 in the Hornbostel Sachs classification of musical instruments ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hornbostel-Sachs ), indicating:
3 = Chordophone. Instruments where the sound is primarily produced by the vibration of a string or strings that are stretched between fixed points.
32 = Composite Chordophone. Acoustic and electro acoustic instruments which have a resonator as an integral part of the instrument, and solid body electric chordophones.
321 = Lutes. Instruments where the plane of the strings runs parallel with the resonators surface.
321.3 = Handle Lutes. Instruments in which the string bearer is a plain handle.
321.32 = Necked Lutes. Instrument in which the handle is attached to, or carved from, the resonator, like a neck.
321.321 = Necked Bowl Lutes. Instrument with a resonator made from a bowl, either natural or carved.

Patients with Norwood Stage 3 or higher hair loss: The Norwood scale was popularized in the mid-70s, allowing documentation and standardization of hair loss and hair follicle density. The typical development of androgenic alopecia begins in the temporal and frontal zones. Later on, the hair loss begins at the crown of the head, until the bald area extends all over the top of the skull and a hair transplant Michigan specialist is consulted. The scale classifies baldness into the following types:
Type I: Receding hair imperceptibly or scarce on the front.

For types III to V there is a subdivision, known as variants A and V. In variant A the fall is concentrated only in near the forehead, while V is accompanied by hair loss in the crown.
Patients with stable hair loss: Hair transplantation is more successful when performed in patients with stable hair loss. In most patients, hair loss is due in large part to the follicular action of the hormone DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), because it causes injury to the hair follicle. However, when control of DHT levels is achieved, hair loss is called “stable”. This means that a greater loss of hair is very unlikely, or that hair loss has slowed down so significantly that Gradual changes in the hair follicle will occur in a few years, in this way hair transplantation is more likely to succeed.
Alopecia related to trauma: Not all hair loss is caused by DHT and testosterone fluctuations. Some forms of hair loss are related to traumas in the hair follicle and can occur as a result of burns, scars or other physical agents.
Men and women with trauma-related hair loss may be good candidates for hair transplantation once the lesions have completely healed.
