Please don't forget the hands have to be in the Bento pose of the pose: turn your ao off and stop the Maitreya hud from controlling your hands (for Maitreya users: open the Maitreya hud, open the tab "Skins and Options" and click "Stop Animations". When either your ao or Maitreya hud is not off, they will overrule the Bento pose of the hands so they won't go into the right bento pose as was meant in the pose).
A very recent and significant collapse of the rock ledge at Pulpit Rock, Portland Bill in Dorset is a reminder of how the Jurassic Coast is constantly changing, be it through natural processes or man-made intervention. Amazing to think that all those shots ever taken here can never now be replicated.
I think getting one of the small birds in flight, in focus is all in the timing... and just plain luck of shutter control. In other words, it's flippin' hard! This is only the second time I've done it and I tried often in the last several winters.
There are days where nothing works…and there are days when everything works.
It was a decent-enough sunrise. I have the pictures to prove it. But this is the best picture of the morning. Dawn reflected on the hood of my car. I didn’t even wash it. Manual focus too.

A little too warm and sunny for the birds and most insects come early afternoon. Just about everything with six legs was sheltering under a leaf, and when they did venture out they were too shiny to catch much detail.
