We can certainly use your help! Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the Historic Bread and Cheese Creek on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, we clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the Ocean Conservancies annual International Coastal Cleanup and American River’s Nation River Cleanup as well as Reclaim the Bay! We have also attached an event flyer for your use.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!

Seriously, where are the pastries? And how the f*ck do you network and mingle and shake hands while trying to fight your way into a rock solid, rhinoceros skinned orange with the juice going EVERYWHERE.
The first conference in Norway I ever went to served raw parsnips and beetroot for the breakfast networking, as finger food. (Yes, and impenetrable oranges.) WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?
I know I've shot these same walls multiple times before, but every time they change. These are progress shots. +some other places I've either not visited before or shot recently...
======
Got out today, 10-09-2021 at about 9:30AM.. Hiked out to one of my spots, and then hiked out to a few spots I've never been out to before. There's so many cool areas
around here. I need to find a spot where all four rails come together. As it is now, there's two busy rails, one kinda busy and another that many one or two freight roll by
during the time I'm there. Two tracks together, one about a 1/4 mile away, and another about 1/2 mile away. I can't just be running between all of them. I'm too old and
slow. Caught some wall graff I hadn't seen before, and also hit up a bunch of my usual spots, and saw all the changes that had taken place since the last time I'd been
out there. Reminder: Pick up your fucking cans/trash. Keep throwin' your shit out there and they'll start crackin' down! It's a beautiful area. Let's keep it that way.
After straightening and fixing photos from the 9th, it's already 10-21, and I'm doubting I'll be able to get out again before the end of the month. Is this what happens when
you're back to work. Benching once a month? This sucks.
As always, thanks to the writers! Stay safe out there!!

The annual BHAA Government Services/Social Protection Group's 5 Mile Road Race took place on Tuesday 28th May 2013 at 20:00 in Dunboyne, Co. Meath, Ireland. The course is a fast flat course which begins on the Dunboyne-Maynooth Road between the two entrances to Dunboyne Castle Estate. The race then proceeds in an anti-clockwise direction back to the Dunboyne Athletic Club on the Rooske Road in Dunboyne. The race reaches higher standards with every passing year. Paul Gorey and his team of volunteers must be given great credit for putting on such a wonderful race event. Thanks are also extended to Dunboyne Athletic Club, the BHAA, and the local community who all make this possible.
This photograph is part of a large set of photographs taken at the finish line area of the race. There are also some races of the buildup and the start of the race.
Overall Race Summary
Participants: There were approximately 500 participants .
Weather: A bright sunny evening with little breeze
Course: This course is fully left handed with very little in the way of inclines. Good road surface. These are nice narrow country roads with shelter provided by mature hedgerows. This year the race finished with 3/4 of a lap of the Dunboyne AC track.
Refreshments: Lots and lots as is the tradition with BHAA Events - served outside the scouts hall at the track.

Can I use the photograph with the watermark?
Yes! Absolutely - you can post this photograph to your social networks, blogs, micro-blogging, etc.
How can I get a full resolution, no watermark, copy of these photographs?
All of the photographs here on this Flickr set have a visible watermark embedded in them. All of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available, free, at no cost, at full resolution WITHOUT watermark. We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. Our only "cost" is our request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, etc or (2) other websites, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us. This also extends the use of these images for Facebook profile pictures. In these cases please make a separate wall or blog post with a link to our Flickr page. If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other social media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.
Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.
In summary please remember - all we ask is for you to link back to our Flickr set or Flickr pages. Taking the photographs and preparing them for online posting does take a significant effort. We are not posting photographs to Flickr for commercial reasons. If you really like what we do please spread the link around, send us an email, leave a comment beside the photographs, send us a Flickr email, etc.
If you would like to contribute something for your photograph(s)?
Some people offer payment for our photographs. We do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would pay for their purchase from other photographic providers we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!
Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

Every year I give my mother a nativity - small ones since she has so little room. This one is made of olive wood.
Every September I visit the Sculpture In Context in the Botanic Gardens and 2013 was no exception. The exhibition showcases the work of Irish and international artists and according to the organisers it is the largest and most prestigious outdoor sculpture exhibition in Ireland.

Every Saturday we have lunch in a good restaurant. We are coming back to Elsa's at Micky Leylandroad often because they offer good National Dishes in a friendly atmosphere. Today local wine, kitfu, and injera.
Day 14.
Artist: Jedi Mind Tricks
Song: Put 'Em In The Grave
I had a hard time with this picture, and I couldn't decide between Jedi Mind Tricks or Megadth's "Rust in Peace". But in the end, Jedi Mind Tricks > Megadeth.

It seems that every town in Japan has a statue like this.Probably because there are few children and even fewer are allowed to live a free childhood without a full schedule of endless juku.

Once every two or three weeks I lose my mind. This lady helps me find it. It's been a long winter and although I'm very aware that this warm temperature is temporary; I can already feel myself more prepared to shoot.
If you're a photographer, live in the Lansing Michigan area and ever need an assistant; I'm 100% your guy. I want to shoot/be part of as many shoots as possible.
Please enjoy the image!
Every year Jason, Jimmy and myself host a Corndog meet. This year it was "Corndog Meet & Bugs Land Stampede" everyone met up and enjoyed a corndog lunch!

Every Christmas season the small town of Maleny closes the main street for a carnival. It is summer and far removed from the traditional European Christmas, but much fun. In the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia.

So there's a few Flickerians following me. I thought I might give a little out about what I'm all about. I'm not sure about you, but I'm curious about those that I follow. A little. Not enough to pry. But I wonder...All I see is pictures. It's a puzzle.
So regarding me -- 20 months ago I woke up and I was faaaaat. Like 40 lbs too fat. I felt like crap. So I started swimming. Then I started running. But the running became a little crazy. I kinda became like Forest Gump....
Typically I run 13 km every 2nd day. Not Earth shattering distances...but I was sedentary for 18 years. It's enough...But the running is helpful, because I use it to scout shots. I'm not saying you should do what I do. It's ridiculous, frankly...but it has many benefits. I see things that I would have not seen before. That's the key....I think...to growing as a human.
So there you go. A little about me. Keep your eyes peeled for those shots...They are out there.
