If I have what can be considered a mission, it is to explore nature and share what I see with you all...and Flickr is the journal that documents it all, daily entries and pages that mark the times of my life...the best part and most beautiful times, in the outdoors!
We all write the book every day, by our encouragement, our kind gestures, our faith, our care for those around us and the planet itself...large and small entries, always being added, that hopefully make our books worth treasuring...for they will be with us forever! : )
In today's chapter of my own book, I took a long hike through the Wildlife Refuge at the beach...
Every year IC Catholic Prep hosts a competitve, yet festive kickball tournament for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Students discover what makes our school a great place to grow academically, physically and spiritually.

Every year hundreds of juniors from across the Perspectives network participate in a five-week internship throughout the Chicagoland area. The program aims to provide every student with the opportunity to form a healthy relationship with a professional role model, help them develop awareness of career choices, and to introduce them to the culture of the business arena. Over the years, hundreds of companies and organizations have provided this valuable experience, where students work in the offices of their mentors on Wednesdays from 9 am to 3 pm for five weeks during the winter.
"We start the five-week internship with a mentor breakfast at each campus,” said Program Manager Shayla Butler. “It is important that our mentors know where our students attend school and to meet with key staff while laying out the ground rules to ensure success for everyone involved.”

Heaven is a place on earth.
And we found it today.
Though it was quite the adventure, and involved us getting a puncture on a mountain track 15km from anywhere. We changed the tyre, went to the reserve, and climbed to the meadow, then set about trying to find a place to repair the puncture.
Took all afternoon, then we still had a four hour drove back to Valencia.
But we will always have this view in our hearts and minds.
And there were orchids here, and two species of Gentians too.
MV Fingal renamed "Every Woman" for its part in the Dazzle Boats project the name relates to the work of women in the 1914 1918 war. Much of the work on repainting ships during the war was done by women both during the design and painting of. The design of "Every Woman" includes the Morse code phrase "Every woman is a signal tower" this is especially apt considering MV Fingals previous role as a lighthouse tender ship.
Every two years, the EYE (European Youth Event) brings together thousands of young people from across the European Union and beyond, right at the heart of European democracy. The EYE is a unique opportunity for 16- to 30-year-olds to inspire and get inspired, to debate directly with Members of the European Parliament and other European decision-makers, and to exchange views with experts, activists, and content creators.
EYE2025, the sixth edition of this event, will take place on 13 and 14 June 2025, offering an interactive and dynamic mix of activities, debates, workshops, visits, artistic performances and much more – both inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg and around the EYE Village.

To all members of EPPFG,
Ethiopian People patriotic front guard (EPPFG) in Germany had carried its regular meeting in Gostenhof Adam-Klein str, 06, in Nürnberg on Mai , 02, 2015. The meeting was aimed to discuss about the current political situation in Ethiopia. During the meeting there were many members of the organization including supporters and religion leaders. The members of the organization has discussed deeply on the human right violation of the dictator government of Ethiopia. Alternative solutions were also forwarded by the members to liberate the country form such a racist regime. The meeting was accomplished successfully after having a common stand on unity and freedom of Ethiopia.
