Every summer, a pair of lovely and regal White Admiral butterflies chase each other beautifully around my backyard.
I think they are in love!
I don't know if it is the same pair every year, but I like to think it is!
Now, after flitting around chasing each other for a while, they will come to rest on branches in the trees and bushes of my backyard.
When those branches are low enough, I snap as many photos of them as I can!
I love the patterns on their wings, it is like Mother Nature lovingly painted them on!
Here is one from yesteday afternoon as I was doing some yardwork!
Hope you are all having an excellent Monday so far!
Every fall we make the 2 hour drive to Moulton Farm, because they make the best cider doughnuts ever (and its beautiful)
Every night at 7 pm the neighbors come out and bang pots and pans, and make noise to celebrate getting through another day in quarantine. Also to commemorate the people working hard to fight the virus.

After a brief stop just before the grain elevators at Leverett, IC1018 and IC1012 get A407 rolling for a second time. An interesting note is that 1018 actually wears an Ekyrail E-bell, a rare feature for a spartan SD70! A nice something to end my IC drought as of late. It may have made me late back to work, but... I'll take it.

The weather hasn't been so good for shooting the seascapes so its another wave shot for today. Glad I was able to find some coverage away from all the rain and lightning :)
Every single time we go for a walk I have to let Dunkel out in the backyard to run it off. He's such a good walker too - he doesn't pull at all, stays by my side, nice and calm. It's like he has to let all that pent up energy out when we get home....so I let him. We have started our super early walks this week. Yippee!! 5:30 AM so that the Dunk doesn't get too hot and he gets his exercise. (That was sarcasm too....but I'll get used to the early starts.)

Strokkur, near (and often mistaken for) Geysir, erupts every few minutes to the delight of tourists (like me).
Every photographer sees the scene just a little differently. Here is my hunsband shooting a scene over the St. Lawrence River Estuary in Bic Park, Quebec.

Every February and October the sun sets directly behind the hole in the rock. Having just done so the sky was aflame!

Every spring Western Sandpipers migrate from California and climb the coast to reach Alaska. Every year they meet for a rest in Hartney Bay, near Cordova, Alaska. Estimates suggest that as many as 6,500,000 individuals pass through the Copper River Delta during just a few weeks each spring.
Every year in Santa Rosa, there are two specific Eucalyptus trees, almost in the center of town where the Egrets and Heron come to nest. It is quite the visual and auditory spectacle.
Chief Doreen Davis of the Shabot Obaadjiwan First Nation assisted by her daughter, performs a Smudging Ceremony at the start of the NDTR ceremony held at the Township of North Frontenac's office.
The flag seen here was raised at the end of the ceremony by both Chief Davis and Mayor Higgins. Tomorrow, 1 October the township flag will fly at the top of the pole and the Every Child Matters flag will fly at half mast until the last residential child is put peacefully to rest, as the Mayor noted in his speech,
