We finally filled the feeders and it did not take long for the news to spread to all our squirrely friends. They were so excited that they did some OT at the feeder, stocking up and entertaining Fyero.

A common guillemot (Uria aalge) that swam ashore in my neighborhood one autumn evening, and let me come very close to watch it rest in the evening sun for about one hour, before it went fishing again.

This historic quay in Singapore is located just upstream from the mouth of the Singapore river and it used to be an important part of the import/export trade in Singapore before being superseded in the mid 20th century. These days it's warehouses have all been converted into bars and restaurants and it's an exciting place to go in the evening for a good night out.
