Chic Cupcake zaakje in de Korte Poten
ik zag heerlijk op het terras van de Wiener Conditorei aan een kop koffie met een punt Sachertorte.
U hoeft voor een lekkere Sachertorte helemaal niet naar Hotel Sacher in Wenen, want ik weet uit persoonlijke ervaring, dat ze hier bij deze Conditorei veel lekkerder zijn.

Triple tone-mapped exposures blended in PS.
Furthermore, a contrast enhancement of the trees in the back with a custom Curve layer. The global color toning comes from multiple layers such as a local Selective Color adjustment and the a yellow/red tinted Black & White layer blended with the Soft Light layer-mode on 34% opacity to mimic a Warm Mist filter. Nighty night!

I sowed some Evening Primrose, (oenothera), seeds in my garden several years ago, in two different shades of yellow, they still pop up from time to time, in different places, this year one of each has grown, the flowers open at dusk and fade quickly as the sun reaches them. I took this photograph on a misty morning.
One of the most famous photo stops in New Zealand is Lake Matheson, a small lake on the West Coast of the South Island, from which if lucky you can get a beautiful view towards the peaks of the Southern Alps with their highest summit, Mount Cook.
Together with a couple of other photographers we were lucky this evening: blue skies and a clear view. And again it was quite amazing how different the light is depending on the day!
Here is the Evening star known as Venus. The clouds kept rolling in, and for split second, Venus reappeared and I captured, it, before the clouds decided to cover it again. The Bright star you see in the Photo is Venus. You may need to zoom in a little to see it.
It's not often you get to see these birds up close, so I was happy to see this flock Saturday morning!
A late afternoon/early evening departure from Soo yard LO-34 was a fine chase during the longer daylight months of the year. Here's 4151 and 6534 getting 57 cars on the roll at Trout Lake on May 28, 1994.
Title says it all - shot from my home this evening during fantastic lighting heading toowards dark. These street trees only got leaves on within the last two weeks. Spring certainly has sprung here.

we were out last night, I had a Roxy day today and I'm now tired. I've started to catch up and will do a little more, but will be asleep before I complete! So back tomorrow evening . . .
This was the outfit I was planning to wear this evening for my trip to my local pub.
As these pictures suggest, I actually felt kinda cute in my dress and wedges.
However, in taking one final look in the mirror before heading out of the front door, I was stuck by a crisis of confidence; a fear that I looked like mutton dressed as lamb (as we say here in Britain).
I was gutted. My confidence fell through the floor and I had to quickly change outfits yet I still wasn't happy with my look. However, with a table booked, I had to just run with it and accept that tonight was one of those nights where I just wouldn't feel special.
The beautiful seaside town of Porthleven Corrnwall. A common viewpoint but at a different time of day to most images you'll see from this vantage point, this gives a new perspective to a familiar scene.
