Sr1 3093 hauling mixed steel freight train from Rautaruukki (Raahe) to Tampere. Train was running over two hours late when departing from Seinäjoki after dropping off some wagons to the yard.
Captured this long exposure image during a calm evening from the Woodlawn Boat Ramp located in east Gulf Breeze, Florida as the sun was setting. Photographed this long exposure sunset using the Sony A7RM2 with the Sony FE 16-35mm F4 ZA along with the Sony Smooth Reflection App.

The snow of the evening becomes beautiful.
The wind had stopped, and I felt moon light of the evening.
Evening snow trekking is interesting,
but please take care, the experience is necessary.
夕暮れの雪って綺麗ですよね。
風も止み、月明かりがかすかに感じられる時間帯の撮影です。
夕暮れのスノートレッキングは綺麗な雪が見られる反面、
経験のある所でないと危険ですのでご注意下さい。
ここから下山までまだ1時間ちょっと。
帰着は真っ暗でした。ちょっと歩きすぎました。

The photo was taken at sunset. We had an unusual October storm in Southern California during the day. Late afternoon to early evening the storm had cleared but clouds remained. In fact the ocean was rather calm despite the days storm and another storm was only a day or two away.
I wanted to take extrabokeh as always, but time seemed to be slightly early. There seemed to be a mountain in the Setagaya area.
The central logo mark is news of a photo exhibition held in January, 2015.

I was thinking we just had one wild evening primrose species here, but now I'm thinking there are two, this one which I think is showy evening primrose, and another which I think is pale evening primrose. This one is lower growing and has cup shaped flowers with pink veins, while the other grows more like a small bush and has larger, flater flowers which are pure white or pale pink throughout (see picture in first comment). If anyone can verify that these are indeed two different species I'd appreciate it.

did not have a camera.. drove like a lunatic home, grabbed the cam and
headed to the roof .. made it just in time.. it was so different in a
couple of minutes..

A common guillemot (Uria aalge) that swam ashore in my neighborhood one autumn evening, and let me come very close to watch it rest in the evening sun for about one hour, before it went fishing again.
