This was actually taken on a sunny afternoon. Playing around with levels and LUTS color grading to achieve this “evening” shot. Finally, added a layer and painted an oval light and use a blending mode to simulate some night illumination. Very pleased with the results.
I really appreciate your visits and the “likes” !
I took this at8.30pm in the garden. Tonight is the Solstice so still light. It would have been better had it not been overcast!! These flowers are iridescent in the evening light.

A shot that sat in the 'what could I do with this' basket for far too long...so decided to put it through the b/w converter. I think it looks slightly better than it did in colour.
Thankyou for looking. Have a great week!
A small mountain lake shines like a gem in the mysterious atmosphere of the evening. On the left, part of the Mont Blanc massif Italian side.

I am not sure how John Cabot ever landed on these rocky shorelines at Bonavista! We went to see the lighthouse in Bonavista and were thrilled to watch whales catching their evening feed of capelin just off shore from where we were standing. I think they were Humpback and Minke whales...previous photo
