It seems harder than ever to lose myself in my photography. I force myself, but my heart isn't in it.
During the trip to Wooden lake in Almaty region, I've caught this rising moon at the dusk. Somebody can say what could be better than a coffee, camera on tripod at quite evening near the lake?

A beautiful male Evening Grosbeak seen yesterday at the Sax-Zim Bog birding area in northern Minnesota. He is cracking a sunflower seed from a nearby bird feeder. St. Louis County, MN 02/11/23

This an evening shot of the largest Catholic Church in our city, the Holy Name of Jesus Parish.
I layered in a linen texture to the sky and I'm happy with the final result. Hope you are, too.
I spotted a flock of Evening Grosbeak in the Columbia Valley south of Cultus Lake. They could be heard quite clearly but they were doing most of their feeding in the conifers and it made it difficult to see them.
