Silene latifolia alba

This species was once classified as Lychnis alba but North American members of the genus Lychnis have been reclassified into the genus Silene

note:

Evening Lychnis has 5 styles versus 3 of other similar looking flowers in the Silene Genus such as Bladder Campion.

Flowers appear to have 10 petals but it's really 5 very deeply notched petals

In the last 15 seconds, you can observe the retractable roof of T-Mobile Park (home of the Seattle Mariners baseball team) move into position along the left side of the frame. This was an unexpected and enjoyable occurrence during the timelapse's execution.

You're viewing the activity that took place in a two-hour period (and 1,800 exposures) in a minute's time.

A Yorkshire Dales summer evening

A solitary Canada Goose quietly slips through the soft ripples of West Hawk Lake in White Shell Provincial Park, Manitoba, Canada, as the warm evening sun’s rays’ glow on the granite rocks of the nearby shore. This is shield country, which makes up roughly one third of Canada’s surface. Restful summer evenings such as this one make for sweet memories.

Taken this evening at Dell Quay Marina near Chichester. I took 25 pictures over an hour and a half standing in cold water just to get this one good one. So don't worry when the pro on his vlog tells you he always does it in one. Maybe he does maybe he doesn't. Most of us don't.

I used an ND 4 grad filter as the sky was so bright with the sun starting to dip down to the right.

I also used an ND10 to get the effect on the water but also to try and get as much colour in the frame as I could as the sun was starting to go behind a massive bank of cloud just out shot.
