Straight negative scan
A crystal clear one off resin sculpture, named so because Australians call ice lollies 'Icy poles'. This piece took 18 separate pours to arrive at the final 6. Made with a clear cast polyester resin, with a laser etched acrylic base and scalpels. Exhibited at MTV Gallery, Sydney during May 2008. Laser etched 'jammed' walls/streets logo with scalpel end.
Man, what a pain in the butt!
And with the mirror, I can see how the stencils are not going to be nearly as good as advertised! There are hair-fine lines where it's cracking, and this stencil has been used only twice. Once on a bad mirror to test, and once here. *sigh* But then, I plan to sell them for maybe $10, so...
