So cool- new method! I use wax like always to draw a design onto the shell (these are brown eggs) then I dunk it in acid and wherever the wax isn't gets eaten away down to the white layer underneath! Ends up having such a neat "ridgy" texture. LOVE making etched eggs!

Glass vase with figure of a girl holding a bouquet etched in the glass. 1 7/8" x 2 1/2" x 3" tall, of 1/4" thick glass.
More of the etched glass cupola in the Glasite Meeting House. Like many cupolas, structurally it is two sets of glass; the etched inner glass, and an outer, plain glass just to keep the rain and muck out. The outer structure casts a shadow over the inner one.
Made this for the challenge. Made two copies of the photo and took one into Paint.net for the sketch effect, brought it back into CAP and blended it with one of the other copies, The third copy is the background. I took the photo a few years ago.
