There are now more than 19,000 refugees living in five informal camps in Sulaimaniya and Erbil in northern Iraq. Many are without access to healthcare and other basic services, including adequate sanitation facilities. Christian Aid partner REACH is working in these informal camps to provide hygiene and sanitation kits, as well as working with UNHCR and local NGOs, to provide food packages and emergency shelters.
