The dinner was facing the twinkling lights from the District skyline, glad i had the cam and tripod in the car so i could at least snap the front docks, before driving home, for todays only shot.

Halloween is in the Air, a cold windy fall day for the school Halloween Parade, getting closer to trick-or-treating
Sunset on the bay of Assateague Island. Here in the calm waters one can be in pure solitude. I was fascinated by this hunters retreat, fantasizing how it would be to live here, with a little sailboat.
Thats where you will find me, last home on the right, where the sunsets.

Off to the park with the kids for a night swing before bedtime. I shot some low light (high iso) panning shots, this one was my fave, and felt right, noise blur and all. Night Night
Returning home, after 2 weeks in Israel, In the new tram between terminals at Washington's Dulles International Airport (IAD) Was too tired after such a trip to do a proper shoot.
Painting digitally on a western canvas. I chose this blue hour, dancing light, as the capture of the day. Maybe it's the color gradient, or just that moment when you glance beyond the horizon, beyond time.
A great dinner with the family, all 4 generations, at Coffee Bar Tel Aviv. Great food, music and ambiance. The newly weds lighting up the room for day 88.

Some days the camera feels more heavy then others, and today it was such a day. Hope to get back in the rhythm tomorrow. Its a shot non the less, on the tripod long exposure "reaching" across my screen

Most trees have lost their leaves by now, but a number of them are clinging on, like me, not ready for winters bite.
Thanksgiving Weekend destination, where the ebb and flow kiss the sand.
Inhaling that smell, it will have to last till spring.
Sensory stimulation refers to the impact the environment has on our minds and bodies as we receive information through our five senses. What better to express that, then the sound of frothing milk, the buzz of the espresso machine as the aroma fills the room, in anticipation of a the perfect shot.

Another crisp clear blue sky, and the C&O canal never disappoints, watched in awe as this Great Blue Heron stalked its pray, standing motionless waiting for it to come to him, As i was doing the same to get close to him. Its amazing how much beauty can be found in one our. Hawks Eagles, wood peckers , ducks streams rivers and Foliage to name just a few. Was a good start to day 114.

As the day was fading, and the sun setting, it was the rushing sound of water that called my name. At the base of one of the hardest climbs (cycling) around here, off black rock rd, there is a rushing stream, I never stopped here. All those rides I was either anticipating the grueling climb ahead, or screaming past this stream with a grin of pure joy as I feather the breaks and down shift out of the big chain ring. This time no bike, just a tripod and my camera.
Heading out to the coast for a bit, camping gear and toys are ready. Taking some time off, but no mercy for 365, that continues daily ;)
Crossing my fingers for some good waves, optic treasures, and some well needed rest and relaxation.
