We were staying on the grounds of a castle in Birr, Ireland. In the 2 acres of gardens, me and my mom found this hole,, and it reminded me of a escape to somewhere else, you know?
Haa it was such a hastle to get this. I had to push this bench that was ancient and probably hasnt moved for centuries, to get my camera on a good position and on timer, get in a position in under 10 seconds, and hope no other tourist found me randomly poseing :)

From the recent wedding in Joplin, Missouri.
At the end of the evening, the remaining guests fired up sparklers and lined the way to the getaway car.
The sparklers were a smoky red version as opposed to the gold magnesium type. This resulted in a very smoky red haze for the couple to run through.
I like this one, as Karen says: "It's like they're leaving the stage!"

Over the past 4 years I don't think I've ever found a place in China that hasn't been touched by human influence in some way. This is the closest I could find near me, and even the branches on this out-of-the-way tree have been cut.
It was raining and this road tanker truck toppled right in front of us.
There were no sparks and screeching like in the movies. It sounded more like somebody turning over a dumpster.
Anyways we escaped the other cars by breaking hard and pulling to the right. There were easily 25 yards/ meters distance to the truck.
We went to see after the truck driver, he said he was fine and we told him that we are getting help.
I saw Diesel gushing out and later we read that the liquid nitrogen tank was leaking too. Before we could break his window to pull him out, a road emergency guy came and took over.
I think we waited 3 hours before we could leave the highway in the other direction.

8月20日発売のBICYCLE MAGAZINE Vol.20の仕事がほぼ終了しました。ということで、ちょっとは平穏な日々が訪れそうです〜。やっと夏らしいことができるかな？ 九十九里に行きたいな〜。
さて、次号のBICYCLE MAGAZINEのテーマは『Commuter（コミューター）』ということで、都市生活での自転車の提案をする特集記事を組んでいます。コミューターというコトバが、日本の自転車シーンではほとんど浸透していないので、このタイトルをみても、ぴんと来ない人がたくさんいるのではといったところなのですが、しかし、近い将来、日本の自転車シーンでもコミューターというコトバが、一般的に使われる日が来ると、弊誌では考えているので、あえてこのコトバを前面に出しています。賭な部分もありますが……。
さて、そんなコミュータですが、今号では、すでにコミューター的な自転車に乗っている人を数名、撮影させていただいているのですが、やはり欧米のようにかっこよく、かっこよいコミュータバイクに颯爽と乗っている人が、まだあまり多くなく、取材はかなり難航いたしました。ある程度は予想通りだったのですが、予防策（？）として、今号では理想のコミューターバイクというものを、ロードバイク、クロスバイク、MTB、シングルスピードバイクのアプローチから、日本で今できる（つくることができる）コミューターバイク、日本ならではのコミューターバイクというのを考えて、実際にカスタマイズしてつくってしまいました！ そのうちの一台、クロスバイクのコミューター化の際に、ジャイアントのクロスバイク『GIANT ESCAPE R3.1』の2010年スプリングカラーの“ワサビ”カラーを、今回、ジャイアントさんのご厚意で、ベース車を提供していただきまして、コミューター化してみました。上の写真のように、ノーマル状態でもかなりかっこいいのですが、カスタマイズ後もかなりいい感じになりました。どんな結果になったのかは、是非、8月20日発売のBICYCLE MAGAZINE Vol20を、ご覧ください。あ、まだ告知早いかな……。まだ書店に並んでいるVol.19も宜しくお願いいたします！

I missed a fantastic sunset by 15 minutes, but when I was, at last, able to park and find my camera I was able to capture a more peaceful scene.
Escape Game is a Great fun, great puzzles and really cool special effects when you unravel the clues. As a business owner, I highly recommend this for a team event! Take your employees and find out how they work together. It’s totally a new experience filled with lots of laughs and lots of fun!!!

Fitcamp's started back today which means I get a whole hour for just me with no-one else about. I was intending taking a ashot before I headed out, but it was still dark (at 8:45am) and I was running late as it was.
Good session and a really lovely morning for it - it felt positively spring like. Naturally I came back soaked and covered in mud, but that's part of the fun. A lot of familiar faces and a couple of new ones too and the discovery that after three weeks away my abs appeared to have morphed into the metric ton of cheese I consumed over Christmas. Hopefully I'll be back up to were I was a month ago fairly soon - especially now most of the Christmas goodies have been consumed.
Youngest a bit knackered today after last night's adventure - I found him watching the TV with his eyes closed this afternoon as my Grandma used to say.
