I've been playing around with the local equalization tool in Photo-Paint and getting results that look somewhat HDRish. This time I added a frame using Paint Shop Pro.
E = Equalize. I have been playing around with various shots to get the right effect, I think this works well, I like the way the colors standout. I used the Equalize function in Photoshop, duplicating the original layer and then applying the Liner Light filter at 50% opacity to create the effect.

After relocating to the Midwest last month I have been adjusting to storm season. This rainbow graced us just as tonight's storm was moving in. I played with the light, contrast, color and equalization to capture this brooding effect. The electric wires seem to add an artistic element.
The hook on the left end fits into the transverse equalizer near the center of the locomotive. The center rocker pivot mounts to the boiler below the cylinder saddle. The right end bolts to the pilot truck. 29 October 2024
