This is a stand-alone equalizer that covered the entire audible frequency range and had separate left and right channel control.
I got these in the late 1970s and early 1980s and had and used them them until 2021 when I gave them to a young musician.

photoshop's equalize adjustment was used to enhance the rings, an artifact of the filter - which is about 30 years old.
I didn't feel like paying for a modern one, and the filter size was the same as that of the 50mm that I held onto since my ae-1 days
the rings only show up when focused at infinity
