There are many apartment buildings in Seoul. If these buildings are observed from far away, it looks like a group of rectangular beehives. The buildings are constructed with cold-grey concrete, and its interior layouts are all identical. However, the people residing in each apartment all have their own lives and uniqueness. I wanted to express that even though these apartments all look the same like beehives, there are precious people with individual lives residing within it. I put faces of famous people to illustrate how we think these people are greater than others, but they are also human beings who are not much different from everyone else. We all have equal value. The various colors within the portrait represent the uniqueness of every individual. The yellow background and jewels represent psychological abundance found in equality.
