My first attempt at a "studio" shot.... and a little humor for a Monday morning :)

Thanks to tommy...c and David Epstein for their excellent counter-top studio shots, they gave me inspiration!

I love this shot because it's the first image I had all planned out in my mind before I ever decided to try making it....

The amendment of marriage law in Taiwan to meet Marriage Equality is getting volcano hot in past 2 weeks. The homophobic 'churches' that count less than 4% of the population are play extra dirtier since the chances of passing the bill is quite high.

No one's getting any special treatment tonight.

In a historic victory for gay rights, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Friday that gays and lesbians have the constitutional right to marry their chosen partner.

Whether You Are The Lady Bee Or A Super Man We All Have The Power To Be A Stormtrooper If We Choose :)

All across the USA womens march for equality this dat the 21st January 2017.

A Black and white series, part one of two.

Christopher Park must be one of the smallest parks in New York. It's just a small slice of land with flowers, a few trees, and some comfortable benches. Most importantly, however, is its sculpture by George Segal commemorating the events that occurred across the street when gay patrons at the Stonewall Inn rose up and said "we won't take it anymore" and demanded quality and justice for gay people everywhere. So, the park and its immediate surroundings are sacred space in the quest for equality and justice. That's what makes this very small slice of land a very big slice of history.

“This stream has humans, aliens, monsters, animals, robots, and way too many Japanese high school girls. And who do they bring out to be the face of ‘equality’? Me, Domino — a black mutant woman — on my first appearance! I’m not sure how to feel about that. It would have been nice to be introduced on my own merit.”

Created for the Toy Sunday theme, EQUALITY.

"Of equality - As if it harm'd me, giving others the same chances and rights as myself - As if it were not indispensable to my own rights that others possess the same."

(Walt Whitman - American poet, 1819-1892)

Anand is wrapped in a kantha silk scarf made with a hand embroidery.

This artcraft will be manufactured by ladies involved in several workshops that we have settled with GURIA, a Human Rights organisation fighting against the sexual exploitation of women and children, particularly those forced into prostitution and trafficking.

Each scarf is unique and made in sarees provided by several women in Benaras who take this opportunity to get rid of pieces that they brought in order to celebrate happy moments, festivals or parties.

Those accessories carry traces of happiness in their yarns...

Anand, our icon model, shows his body for the purpose of this brotherhood and happiness chain as this is a way to catch the attention on this fight for Human Rights and human dignity.

(Scarf style "Kashi" - 100% silk - Collection RED HALO)

This style is also available for throws and bed covers.

Sunrise at Cape Banks, Sydney Australia. I wanted to post something with a bit of colour today

to celebrate the fantastic decision by SCOTUS on marriage equality in the USA. Congratulations

to my American friends, and I hope that one day my own government sees the basic logic of allowing

everyone to get married regardless of their orientation.

New York City was a pretty incredible place to be today - so much happiness, love and celebration. So thrilled for those who can now say "I do!"

In Ireland we're having a referendum on Marriage Equality on 22nd May 2015. I built this to say how I intend to vote...

"If the equality of individuals and the dignity of man be myths, they are myths to which the republic is committed. "

I never thought I'd see Peter Tatchell on a mural. Seen in London, August 2021.

An oldie, but the message (unfortunately) continues to resonate.
