Some used/new books for me. I love my "Native American" stories. Of course I've never read Pat Conroy, that is one of mom's Christmas gifts!! She loves some "Carolina Beach Music"!! Yes, there is a such thing as "Carolina Beach Music" at O.D., Cherry Grove, Myrtle Beach, etc. Check it out on "you-tube". 'Chairmen of the Board' is one of "my Faves", RIP GENERAL!!

There is a visitor center at the Wild Horse Wind Farm just east of Ellensburg. Outside the visitor they have an old fashioned windmill spinning away in the breeze. The entire facility was shut down today for construction, so it was the only spinning vanes in the place. The modern mill behind it is capable of generating 1.8 Megawatt's of electricity. The entire site, containing 127 turbines on 9000 acres of land is capable of producing enough electricity from wind to equal about 1/5 of a typical Nuclear power reactor.
I'm really glad this girl here stopped us on the street in Chicago. She's part of the HRC organization and informed us that in many states today can fire people for being gay or transsexual. I did not know this was a thing. We made a minor contribution of $20 being short on money...but she definitely did her job right of informing us. Job well done goes out to you!

Persons with disabilities in North Macedonia have never been represented by an MP or another elected official with a disability, even though they constitute a significant part of the population. When opportunities for political participation arise, it seems that persons with disabilities are the ones most deprived of possibilities to engage. To support their empowerment, WFD organised the first Political Academy for Equal Participation this weekend, giving space to engaged activists and individuals in the field to further develop their skills for political participation. The academy was organised in cooperation with Polio Plus and funded by the UK Government. We look forward to see more activists present in the political and public space advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities.
Video from our incredibly lovely HAK Innsbruck students who filmed and edited their first Green Screen Stand Up for Equal Rights video advertisement. It was also the first time that Stuart and I worked with students utilizing our Green Screen kit and they were simply amazing. Enjoy!
