this is what i did after seeing this post:

the string is yard and strips of plastic bag braided together. I used lipton brisk packets lightly gessoedand one stash brand tea packet} and before bead and buttons I speckled them with paint using a firm toothbrush. old fabric scraps,a used dryer sheet, flocked beads, a piece of paper and a couple of straws cut to make the casing. Everything is from my stash.

seems I have recently posted photos of my niece phoebe and nephew harry but not given little lola her due...so without further haste...here is my niece lola - who is exactly 3 months older (to the day) than cooper...and never ever is shy when I have the camera in hand.
