The song "Be Our Guest" is going to be stuck in my head all day now. At least it's a good song!
If you haven't checked out ISO 5571 - Disney Photography Podcast yet, what is the holdup? Download it now! It's good fun for photographers or casual Disney fans. There's truly something for everyone in it. As long as everyone likes Disney or photography!
Just a shot I grabbed really quick while the group was running to catch that monorail.
Epcot prime day at the wdwphotography/flickr meet in December.
I used the Pastorino method to get this shot here. There's something about this area of the park that just sucks me in (ask my girlfriend, because she thinks the fountains are her nemesis) and it's hard for me to leave. For my last trip to EPCOT, I'd say 40% of the whole day was spent around this little pond/fountain.

2016 International Flower & Garden Festival
Beautiful bright colors abound wherever you look during
the annual Flower and Garden Festival, held every Spring.
It features fantastic gardens and amazing Disney topiary.
[FYI: FRESH EPCOT is the catchphrase/theme this year. There
were many vegetable-displays, hence the name; fresh produce.]

It had rained all afternoon which made me change my plans for night captures... basically canceling them. Therefore, I did not take my tripod with me when we went to Epcot for dinner. The rain let up after dinner, and I found myself in somewhat of an empty park. Not to be deterred I decided to shoot the pavilions hand held.

Of all the Park Epcot had the best fireworks - This is a combination of 6 images to create the panoramic and then about 5 images from the actual firework display all combined to make one giant panoramic
what an awesome end to our holiday in Florida - thank you everyone who made it special
Epcot Forever fireworks show as seen from the Showcase Plaza in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida on Friday, December 6, 2019.
Took this shot on my last trip to Epcot. Sometimes I thank a plain and simple shot is good.
In Epcot they had different Countries like, America Germany Mexico, Norway, Morocco, France, Great Britten, China, Japan, Italy and Canada! It was a lot of fun seeing the different areas too and I learned lots! :) So at each Country I decided to take a picture of Miku. If you are from one country’s I hope you enjoy the picture I took for you! :3 If you want to be added to one you can just let me know! ^^_^^ I hope you enjoy it!
I combined 3 shots in Photoshop layers using masking and Screen mode. I use Layer Masking to paint out bursts that look out of place or don't add to the scene. I also use masking opacity to darken and mix lighting where the 3 shots combined strength would cause an area to look over exposed.

World Showcase - Epcot
Walt Disney World Resort
A portion of Epcot's Norway Pavilion viewed from one of the Friendship boats on World Showcase Lagoon. This is the Stave Church area of the Pavilion. I was able to take this shot thru the open upper half of one of the boats' doors.
The Norway pavilion is the most recent nation to be added to World Showcase. It was officially opened in June 1988 by Crown Prince Harald in a ceremony that was broadcast live to Norway. The original idea was to create a Nordic Pavilion that would combine elements from various countries into one exhibit. Three countries were consulted, but it finally ended up with investors from Norway raising the required US$30 million as to create an exclusive national pavilion. Disney contributed the other one-third of the construction cost. In 1992, the investors sold their stake to Disney. Since nearly as many people visit Epcot as live in Norway, the government felt it still was a good promotional tool for their tourism industry. The federal government continued to contribute US$200,000 annually for five years to help fund the exhibit. Renewed in 1997 for a further 5 years, the government stopped payments in 2002, against the recommendations from their American embassy. (wikipedia)

One of my main challenges when using my UWA, is trying to keep my shadow out of the shots. In the beginning, I almost regretted the decision to get the lens, strictly because of that. On this day though, I didn't have the problem at all. And I didn't even have to sacrifice my "vision" for the shots I wanted. ;)
