Environment Canada Staff found it quite a challenge to clean up McIntyre Creek due to the diverse natur of the area. The creek is located beside the Alaska Highway just north of downtown Whitehorse which is extremely busy with traffic and visitors. It is also ecologically diverse from gravel banks to think underbrush to marshy areas. It is a gorgeous area which needs to be preserved at all times.
