Exploring the environment of the hummingbirds, I found this moth on the Lantana flowers.
I don't know the species of moth and butterflies. Could anyone help me with the ID, please?

We went to RSPB Loch Garten at Abernethy in The Cairngorms today hoping to see the Crested Tits amongst other things. Although most of the other things remained conspicuous by their absence, there were loads of little Coal Tits flitting around for us to get a few images of.
I took my mom on a date to NOLA, which ended at this cemetery. When we pulled through the gates, she turned to me and said, "This is what I call a target rich environment." Lakelawn Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana

Gathright Dam on the Jackson River, near Covington, Va., is an earthen dam used for flood damage reduction for communities downstream along the Jackson and James rivers. The dam also allows the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to mix water from various depths of Lake Moomaw to maintain a constant water temperature and flow downstream to help wildlife.
Was out exploring a cemetery the other day in the midst of an ice storm. Three consecutive days of freezing rain had transformed the landscape into an ice palace. Trees branches glistened under a thick coating of ice, and crackled in response to wind gusts. Grass and weeds were frozen in place, and made odd crunching sounds under my feet. Rain pelted my parka, a very odd sensation with the below freezing air temperature. The droplets sounded louder than normal summer rain, and icy cold where they landed on bare skin. It was yet another weather phenomenon that caused ordinary places to appear otherworldly. I love tapping into this energy. It is heightened by the sheer desolation of this place, a rural cemetery that is infrequently travelled. Adverse weather repels even the few who might otherwise have visited here. I'm left completely alone and without distraction. The intensity is palpable and in these moments I thrive on it. I wander about aimlessly, alternately pausing to observe things; taking photos. and at times simply standing still to take in the environment and appreciate the moment. I first noticed this statue of the Virgin Mary from a distance and it was facing away from me. I made my way over, and slowly circled around. That's the moment I saw the downturned face covered with rivulets of frozen rain drops. I realized instantly that this is why I was brought here. Nearly every spontaneous photo shoot includes a defining moment, and today, this was it. Standing here miles from nowhere in the middle of an ice storm, me and this forlorn little figurine. I sized up the face; battered and weathered, moldy yet an expression that seemed unbowed by circumstance. The painted eyes seemed eerily lifelike, as if they were capable of vision, of cognition. I kept replaying this moment later in the day, even after I was warm and dry. The photo haunts me still.
I chose this photo to post to "Your Best Shot 2017" (www.flickr.com/groups/yourbestshot2017/)
This image represents an important event in the world in 2017 and also an important event in my life. I started my life as a political-and-social-activist at age 15, so it seemed appropriate to mark my 50+ years as an activist at age 71 by attending the Women's March in DC on Jan 21, 2017.
The women, men, and children at the march showed support for many issues, including the environment. This image ended up in Explore, so it was not only my favorite image from the event, but became the fave of many Flickr members, too.

Women's March - Washington DC, 01/21/17
This is one of my favorite signs that I saw in DC.
I don't allow downloads on my Flickr account, but if you want to use this photo (or others from the Women's March) in protest to the current administration or to use for civil rights (for everyone) issues, or to highlight environmental issues, send me a Flickr msg with your email and the title of my image. I'll send you a jpg file.
The woman holding the sign reminds me of one of my best friends in college. She's now, like me, in her 70's, but this reminds me of her during our college days.

1An Indiana sunset with Steel Dynamics (made 3 billion dollars last year). The EPA says Indiana is the most polluting state. This fortune 50 company and Republicans hid it the middle of no where in a very rural area. Now they are trying ban solar panels in the county. we Hoosiers are not smart primates.
Air pollution is contamination of the indoor or outdoor environment by any chemical, physical or biological agent that modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere.
Household combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities and forest fires are common sources of air pollution. Pollutants of major public health concern include particulate matter, carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide. Outdoor and indoor air pollution cause respiratory and other diseases and are important sources of morbidity and mortality.
Air quality is closely linked to the earth’s climate and ecosystems globally. Policies to reduce air pollution, therefore, offer a win-win strategy for both climate and health, lowering the burden of disease attributable to air pollution, as well as contributing to the near- and long-term mitigation of climate change.
