Environmentalists have been concerned about the immense Plaster of Paris and mercury chemicals from the paint. Now many Ganpattis are instead made out of corn starch or mud.

This is twofold. I'm still having trouble messing around with the environment editor for 2.8, and I'm trying to get an effect like Hitogata gets.

Philadelphia

Development in Philly is out of control, worsening conditions for working class people & the environment. Hundreds of community activists took to the streets to set the tone for Philly's 2023 election: anyone running for mayor or city council better have policy solutions for ensuring long-term, working class residents have a place in this city and that Philly is truly tackling and prepared for the climate crisis.

The march was organized by community groups fighting for land justice across our city, including Philly Thrive, Sunrise Movement, VietLead, Save UCTownhomes, Save the Meadows, Cobbs Creek EJ, and more!

Chief executives of 100 Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT) companies have pledged to accelerate solutions tackling climate and biodiversity losses, which they agreed are an existential crisis threatening the resource base of the global economy. The same threat will be of focus for COP27 discussions in Egypt and COP15 in Canada this year.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has commended the UN team in Thailand led by Resident Coordinator Gita Sabharwal as a principal partner amid the grim backdrop of the triple planetary crisis, advancing ecological restoration and sustainable economic growth in all dimensions—with UNIDO, UNEP and UNHABITAT bringing their expertise in low-carbon technologies, waste management and energy markets; and UNDP and UNESCO promoting sustainable tourism, the creative economy as well as protection of habitats and endangered species.

The Global Compact Network Thailand Forum 2022, co-hosted with the UN team in Thailand, took place as the country prepares for both COP27 in Egypt and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2022 in Thailand this month. A key agenda Thailand will be pushing forward with world leaders is the protection of biodiversity and the steering of efforts to tackle the climate crisis.
