50 Engineers Road is located in the Hauppauge Industrial Park in the Town of Smithtown. The Hauppauge Industrial Park is home to 1,300 business and 55,000 employees, making it the largest such complex east of the Mississippi River and the second largest in the country. TRITEC Development Group purchased this single occupant industrial building and brought it through the entitlements process to convert the building to 60% office 40% industrial/R&D. The building went through an extensive capital improvement plan executed by TRITEC Building Company and was until recently fully leased.
The building is managed by TRITEC Asset Management.

IRT projects provide Soldiers opportunities for training to support their federal mission and Soldier skills while the community benefits from the final product. Elishka, our Russian Blue cat, is obsessed by water (as RBs commonly are, apparently). She loves to sit next to the bathroom basin or kitchen sink after the tap has been turned off, watching the water draining, pawing drips and listening to the noises.

Tucker visited the engineers as they wrapped up their live fire and training lane as part of the10-day eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation designed to train and validate platoons on tasks that support offensive and defensive operations under daylight and hours of limited visibility. Units will concentrate on training selected mission essential tasks in a realistic field environment to refocus junior leaders on tactical field craft. The Army National Guard’s XCTC program provides an experience similar to a Combat Training Center to Guard Soldiers at a home station training center, minimizing cost and time away from home and jobs. XCTC is an instrumented field training exercise designed to certify unit proficiency in coordination with First Army.

Soldiers from the Bowling Green-based 189th Engineer Company, 276th Engineer Battalion compete for bragging rights as "best squad" in a series of Army Warrior Tasks and team building events March 9, 2014, in Bowling Green. Over the past two years, USAID has sponsored internships for young Indonesian engineers at the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), a non-profit power system operator based in Sacramento. The internship was a follow-on activity of the USAID-funded Energy Utility Partnership Program (EUPP) agreed by CAISO, PLN and USAID, which promotes energy security, access to renewable power sources, and clean energy economies for USAID-assisted countries. The exchanges were designed to help Indonesian engineers learn new techniques from some of the most advanced companies in the field. It’s all part of USAID’s mission to build a self-reliant power sector that can effectively identify local challenges and address them with accountability and skill.
