i went into the office to get permission to photograph this pink chair in front of the motel.
the lady looked at me as if i had several heads.
so i tried again.
she said "why?"
well, uh, hmmmmm, well uhhhhhhhhh ...
i thought maybe she just didn't understand me.
so i tried again.
i pointed to the camera, mumbled something about being a photographer. finally i said "i like the chair."
oh, ok, that got through. she thought about it, and finally said "ok".
Empty trains. Empty streets. Empty restaurants, bars and cafes, museums and cinemas. But where are all the humans?
