Empty nests we mourn,
Barren bonds devoid of life,
No love left to give.
On the late morning of Thursday the 26th of July 2012 Class 66 #66156 heads away from the docks in Fowey passing the small village of Golant with a long length of CDA wagons in tow returning to Goonbarrow for a re-fill.
Not pretty. Documentary style.
While picking up groceries brought to the car by brave, masked souls, I took a few shots of empty and/or shuttered, bankrupt businesses.
Experimenting with an old wide-angled 20mm lens to show isolation and emptiness.
What will the new normal be? We're in lockdown for at least another month. This was our big outing for the week.

...meaning no other 'human' visitors other than us :) where we took our lunch and had a swim for that period. We're glad with many choices of islets, we found this one hidden. Sometimes or often times preferably it's nice to be away from the big noisy crowd.
