This is the veggies' shelf in the Co-Operative shop in Claypotts Road. Amazing how, after three days of (heavy) snow the shop is almost empty.
Los estantes de la verdura de Co-Operative de Claypotts Road. Increible cómo están vacíos después de tres días de nevar.
Picture taken during the introduction days (AID) of freshmen students at Wageningen University. The location here is the cellar of the fraternity SSR which has a bar and a dancefloor. It wasn't very busy yet so this image of silhouettes against a smoky empty background popped up.

In a country with over 1.3 billion people (and counting) and a limited amount of space with a growing population of 'homeless' people, I find it inconceivable that a building in the centre of the city lays empty and abandoned. -parody of Salvador Dalí 's "The Burning Giraffe"-
"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them...
Instead, be filled with the Spirit."
~ Ephesians 5:11,18 (NIV)
"你們不要參與那些屬黑暗結不出果子的事,反而要把那些事揭露出來,
而要被聖靈充滿."
~ 以弗所書 5:11,18
6th Grade Empty Bowl Project 2009- Identity Bowls lesson- each student develops a plan that included a symbol that represents an aspect of their personal identity. The bowls are sculpted and glazed and each student then participates in the Empty Bowl Dinner where money is collected for local homeless shelters or soup kitchens. At the end of the dinner each student takes home the bowl they created and family members purchase extra bowls that have been decorated by the students.
That time of the year is back… when the streets start to be empty, there is no sound of children playing at the park, the laugh of girls chatting on the grass is missing.
You could go walking for hours without finding joy in peoples faces, the winter is coming, nature is not dressed in her fancy white dress yet…
We are waiting, we are waiting
Hay un gran escalón que separa a la gente que no quiere comer, de la que no puede hacerlo. Los estratos separan las oportunidades vitales de ambas, y las definen socialmente, pero siempre coincidirán al menos en un factor: el hambre.
