Seem to take a lot of pictures of empty hallways. This was an exit somewhere in Pacific Centre I think. Did take a touristy one of the gastown clock but not bothering to post it. I sure the Japanese tourist taking the same picture will post and he had a better camera.
Two empty trains in Lincoln, NE wait for their turn to return to the coal fields in the Powder River Basin in Wyoming.
So much to do before next Thursday. So little time. I spent my morning here looking out at the Thames, pathetically waving my tape measure. Can you see the log chairs? They're ace. I want one.
Empty corridor and empty can. Feeling like someone's been there but now its gone and leaving just an empty can in corridor.
9841 empty ore train from Pt Kembla, exits Wingello station and heads down the bank. From memory this was the first week of Cootes operating the train, after taking over the traffic from Pacific National.
This is me trying to keep taking pictures after the project is over.
Tonight I went to 60 West Bistro & Martini Bar to celebrate Kathy's birthday. My photos of their martinis didn't turn out so great but I liked this photo of the empty table!

Review:
Buck Jones both produced and starred in this offbeat Western also featuring silent screen icon Louise Brooks. Hoping to turn it into a profitable dude ranch, drifter Buck Devlin (Buck Jones) purchases the Ranch of Empty Saddles, the former site of a bloody war between cattle ranchers and sheep men. Buck cleans up the place with the help of peddler Swap Boone (Harvey Clark) and his daughter Boots (Brooks), and the ranch is soon teeming with Eastern tourists. As an added treat for the guests, the ranch hands stage a mock recreation of the old feud, which turns deadly serious when someone responds with real bullets. Future B-Western sidekick Frank Yaconelli, appearing unbilled, and a band of cowboys perform "Welcome to the Empty Saddle Ranch" and "Orchid of the Prairie". (allmovie.com)
Whilst walking in Shankwoods I came across these little rocky outcrops with Trees growing out at all angles.
Someone asked me to shoot portraits for valentines at school today. I have not really done any portrait work before. I was terrible at giving directions lol. I know this is not a "portait" shot but i like this one.

Surrounding an abandoned dock, these buildings are in a perilous state. Fire damaged and collapsing, they were once busy maritime, industrial and important places. Now they are empty and forgotten.
Colored paper and envelopes to be made into Christmas cards. I usually make a few personalized ones for the people I feel closer to. It was a lot of work, but I know it will bring a smile to whoever picks up the mail and sees one of these laying in the pile of ... dare I say...generic cards.

My family is having the pool re-finished, so it made a great opportunity for some nice grunge photos of the emptied and jack-hammered pool.
The two men walk down the stairs and out into the alley, each clutching their envelopes. The first rips open his, looks and grimaces...A mere hundred. A good amount for the days, but much less than he had received before.
The man behind him carefully opens his own envelope, and lets out a smile.
"Holy...Look at this, Charlie! Gots me 'bout six hundreds 'ere! Jesus...Whatchould I buy Julia, eh? How 'bout a new dress? She'd like a new dress..."
The first whips around and stare at the other's envelope. He wasn't lying. Charlie reached into his jacket as the other stared down. Charlie quickly pulls out metal, and a blasts the other man away. He falls with a hard thump onto the concrete; a blood pool slowly spread out, filling the cracks in the ground.
Charlie pauses, then puts his handgun away and rushes off down the street. He knew what was happening. He was being pushed out. Sooner or later, they would send another one of their God-damned thugs to kill him, just as he had done early that day.
His emotions surged as he slapped the pavement. They want him gone? Well, he'll be going. Going out with a bang. Literally.
